Data Transformation Analyst
Are you a

a fast-growing company in Buffalo, NY, to hire a highly motivated and
agile Data Transformation Analyst to join their team! This is a
full-time, permanent opportunity to step into a hybrid role bridging
technical systems, data transformation, and business teams—perfect for
a sharp, analytical professional ready to make a direct impact. The
position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 -
$5,000+ per year, based on experience.
In this
role, details matter – you’ll be the go-to problem solver between data
operations, IT engineering, and business teams, making sure that
important data from the client is cleaned, validated, and integrated
properly across CRM and other internal systems. This position offers
visibility, the ability to take the lead, and the chance to grow in a
collaborative environment that values initiative, precision, and
proactive communication.
This is a hybrid position in the
Buffalo area.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between Data, IT Engineering, and
Operations to ensure smooth system integrations and clean data
transformation
- Own the setup and configuration of digital
workflows using Microsoft Excel, Anvil, Microsoft Word, JSON,
SQL, and other transformational tools
- Upload,
clean, and validate data in CRM and internal systems, ensuring
consistency and accuracy across platforms
- Build and
troubleshoot document workflows and mapping structures; ensure that
data connects smoothly
- Configure and manage Cloud data for
workflows
- Read and interpret stored procedures; write
SQL queries using joins, filters, and basic
operations
- Support API integrations and
contribute to data flows and data governance strategies
- Use tools to ensure proper structure, formatting,
and de-duplication in large data sets
- Configure QSF
templates using Microsoft Word; detail orientation is
critical
- Identify process inefficiencies, propose solutions,
and document best practices across data workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to meet technical
goals and critical deadlines
- Adapt and thrive in a
fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of
experience in a technical, data-focused, or systems role
- Bachelor’s Degree required; a background in Mathematics, Data
Science, or Technology is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of
Microsoft Excel, especially in transforming data for use in custom
workflows
- Experience with Salesforce, or a similar CRM
system
- Hands-on experience or fast-learning ability with
Anvil, Microsoft Word templates, and document mapping
- Proficiency in SQL with an ability to write queries and
understand stored procedures
- Familiarity with JSON, API
integrations, and ETL pipelines is highly desirable
- Ability
to clean and structure large, inconsistent datasets with a focus on
data governance
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong
communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
- Highly
motivated and comfortable working in a hybrid environment following a
90-day onsite training period
