About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Personal Assistant to assist senior citizens in maintaining their independence and enhancing their quality of life. As a Personal Assistant, you will provide essential support with daily activities, ensure safety and comfort, and help create a warm and nurturing environment. This role requires patience, empathy, and strong communication skills to cater to the needs of elderly individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care Assistance : Help with daily personal hygiene routines, grooming, dressing, and bathing as needed.
  • Medication Management : Help with reminders for medications and ensure timely consumption.
  • Mobility Assistance : Provide assistance with walking, transferring between rooms, and other mobility-related needs.
  • Companionship : Provide friendly conversation, emotional support, and companionship to prevent loneliness and encourage mental well-being.
  • Household Management : Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment.
  • Transportation : Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities.
  • Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of daily activities, medication logs, and any concerns or changes in health status.
Requirements:
  • Experience : Previous experience as a personal assistant, caregiver, or in a related role is preferred but not required.
  • Skills :
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks.
    • Patience, empathy, and a caring nature.
    • Basic knowledge of elderly care, including understanding of common health conditions and limitations.
  • Certifications (optional but preferred): CPR, First Aid, or relevant caregiver training.
  • Physical Requirements : Ability to lift, assist with mobility, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
  • Background Check : Must pass a background check and have a clean driving record (if applicable).
  • References : Professional references required.
