Our kennel techs are hands on position. They are responsible for
keep the suites clean and well furnished for each individual dog,
giving care and attention to the indoor pups and tending to each
animal's needs, and communicated care notes to the front tech. Must be
patient and detail oriented. Cool under pressure.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Organizing and updating
information about client pets
- Maintaining a clean area
- Feeding and refilling bowls at meal time
- Distributing comfort objects
- Learning about and
offering comfort to our client dogs
- Maintain accurate
records and reports on client interactions, interventions, and
outcomes.
- Maintaining laundry
- Bathing dogs
- Attend and contribute to team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Good
references to your customer care qualities
- High school
Diploma or GED
- Experience in customer care
- Dog
Lover
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to
communicate effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
- Empathy and cultural competence, with a commitment to ethical
practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a
team.
- Proficiency in management software and Microsoft
Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to handle rowdy and excitable dogs and be on
your feet for up to 6 hours a day.
Shift Description :
4 to 6.5 hour shifts starting at 7am
Shift Description :
Position is Monday through Friday mornings. Some shifts will be a
full shift (7:00am to 1:30 pm) as needed or half shifts (7:00am to
11am), changes will not be made without consultation with you.
