Assistant Plumbing Service Manager
Are

candidates for an Assistant Plumbing Service Manager position for one
of our commercial contractor clients. This full-time role,
paying $45,000 - $5,000 per year, offers the
opportunity to support a fast-paced plumbing service department,
manage customer relationships, and ensure seamless day-to-day
operations.
As the Assistant Plumbing Service Manager, you
will play a key role in coordinating service calls, managing materials
and inventory, and working closely with customers and service
technicians to deliver high-quality solutions. You’ll assist in
estimating jobs, ensuring timely billing, and maintaining efficient
workflow within the service department. This is a dynamic position
that requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication
skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
This role is ideal for someone with plumbing, HVAC, or service
industry experience, but training is available for motivated
individuals with strong organizational and customer service skills.
This position is based on-site in Lancaster, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Support
plumbing service technicians by coordinating materials and ensuring
timely billing.
- Manage inventory and work closely with
customers to meet their needs efficiently.
- Provide accurate
estimates and maintain clear communication regarding job expectations
and costs.
- Spend considerable time on the phone with
customers, addressing inquiries and coordinating job details.
- Oversee the completion of emergency service jobs, typically
completed within a few days.
- Ensure compliance with safety
regulations, plumbing codes, and industry standards.
- Foster
a positive, customer-focused work environment and promote teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or a related field
preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact
with customers and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple
priorities in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office
software.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving
record.
