Project Administrator
Are you ready to
play an integral role in the administrative functions of commercial
construction and mechanical projects? StaffBuffalo is actively seeking
candidates for a Project Administrator position for one of our
commercial contractor clients, paying $45,000-$55,000/year. This role
offers the opportunity to oversee and manage critical project
documentation, support project managers, and ensure key processes and
paperwork are completed efficiently.
The Project Administrator
will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative aspects
of commercial mechanical and HVAC projects. Duties include managing
project documentation and contracts, working closely with project
managers to complete essential paperwork, and supporting senior
management by addressing pressing matters. The ideal candidate will
also coordinate meetings, manage submittals and RFIs, oversee
contractor work, and assist Project Managers with budgeting and
reporting.
This is an on-site, in-person in Western New York.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily
project administration
- Handle project documentation and
contracts
- Liaise with project managers to complete paperwork
- Collect and analyze project data and report on outcomes
- Coordinate meetings, issue minutes, and communicate changes
to contracts
- Process submittals, RFIs, and critical
paperwork
- Work with vendors and subcontractors on
documentation
- Assist with budgeting and regular reporting
Qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,
Word)
- Background in the construction/contracting industry
- Experience with Procore construction management software is a
plus
- Strong communication, multitasking, organization, and
time-management skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or
Construction Management
