Recruitment and Placement Manager

StaffBuffalo is actively partnering with a
mission-focused organization in Buffalo to hire a full-time
Recruitment and Placement Manager. This is a high-responsibility,
people-first role where you’ll drive the full recruitment and
placement cycle for adult workforce programs across industries like
IT, Healthcare, and Administration. You’ll lead a small but growing
team, manage internal systems, and build lasting partnerships with
employers, recruiters, and community organizations to ensure learners
are not only enrolled but successfully launched into meaningful
careers. This on-site position offers a salary range between
$62,000–$8,000/year and the opportunity to work a flexible four-day
workweek (4 x 10hr days = 10:30am–8:30pm).

This is an in-person role based in
Buffalo, New York.
Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment efforts to fully enroll young
professionals in industry-aligned career training programs.
- Manage and mentor a small team.
- Build relationships
with local employers and workforce partners to ensure strong
internship and job placement pipelines.
- Support students
through the entire arc of training—from interest to job readiness and
career launch.
- Present candidates professionally through
resumes, profiles, and employer engagement.
- Coordinate mock
interviews, resume coaching, and job-readiness support in
collaboration with instructional teams.
- Track outcomes using
Salesforce, analyze employment trends, and continuously improve
recruitment and placement strategies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of
experience in recruitment, workforce placement, or career services.
- Proven experience managing employer relationships and
delivering placement results.
- Strong supervisory skills and
the ability to coach and guide team members.
- Proficiency in
Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce.
- Experience
with resume presentation and candidate prep is a plus.
- Ability to work onsite full-time with a flexible schedule,
including later hours (MUST be able to work until 8:30pm
daily.)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR,
Education, or equivalent experience.
- Must be willing to
obtain a BPSS Director License within the first year of employment
(training supported after hire).
