Accounting Clerk

The Accounting
Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various aspects of
financial operations, including supporting accounts payable and legal
billing processes. This role will involve maintaining accurate
records, processing invoices, and assisting with the transition to a
new accounting platform. Additionally, the Accounting Clerk will
collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during a

This is an
in-person, onsite role in Buffalo, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Receive,
review, verify, and process invoices, check requests, and expense
reimbursements to be completed for payment
- Maintain
documentation of invoices and forms necessary for files
- Respond to vendor inquiries and help maintain vendor
relations
- Maintain general ledger and billing filing
- Assist with credit card reconciliation, expense entry
recording, etc.
- Provide support for various accounting tasks
including over-the-phone client payments, daily deposits, and basic
reporting
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+
years of experience in an accounting or related role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Emotional intelligence and the ability to handle stress
effectively
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional specialized
training in accounting is a plus
