Automation & Controls Sales Manager

This Automation & Controls Sales Manager will have

This is an Outside Sales role within the WNY territory, with a
focus on Buffalo.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, develop, and expand Sales Territory, including
Buffalo and the surrounding areas, with minimal existing customers
while identifying copious new customers and opportunities.
- Develop and follow a Territory Sales Plan that aligns with
growth forecasts and sales goals.
- Build successful internal
and external customer relationships.
- Collaborate effectively
with the sales team, sharing leads and resources.
- Work
independently without daily supervision, yet remain responsive to
company management.
- Facilitate the sales forecast and input
data into the company’s CRM system.
- Gain in-depth knowledge
of assigned product lines and become a resource of solutions for
customers.
- Negotiate contracts that are beneficial for both
the company and the customers.
- Travel throughout the
assigned territory with overnight travel as required.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+
years of automation and controls outside sales experience with
application knowledge of pneumatics, electronics (controls), and
aluminum framing products.
- An engineering degree is
preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical and
communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven track
record of technical know-how in previous job or project assignments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel,
Outlook, and CRM software.
- Mechanical and/or
electro-mechanical aptitude.
