The Chief Mortgage Lender will be responsible for originating
and processing mortgage loan applications, offering expert advice to
clients on various mortgage options, rates, and terms. They will guide
clients through the loan process, ensuring they make well-informed
decisions. This Chief Lender will develop and maintain strong
relationships with clients, as well as build and maintain
relationships with local non-profit organizations, banks, and other
business partners.
Key responsibilities for this Chief
Mortgage Lender include conducting thorough financial analyses and
credit evaluations to determine loan eligibility and recommend
suitable loan products. The Chief Mortgage Lender will collaborate
closely with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to ensure
efficient and timely loan processing. Maintaining accurate and
complete loan files in compliance with regulatory and company
guidelines is essential. As the main point of contact for clients and
business relationships, the Chief Mortgage Lender will provide
exceptional customer service and support throughout the loan process,
addressing any issues promptly and professionally.

This is an in-person, onsite role in Buffalo, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate,
Approve and Manage Mortgage Loans
- Underwriting
- Review lending goals, make adjustments as necessary.
- Facilitate collaboration and communication to achieve project
success.
- Administrative tasks for Special Projects:
collecting, preparing and presenting information.
- Develop
and maintain existing relationships with new lending partners
throughout WNY.
- Provide exceptional customer and client
service skills with the ability to nurture client relationships.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 Years of Experience in Mortgage Loan Origination and
Relationship Management.
- Excellent communication,
negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and
problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and
as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in
mortgage software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree
in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NMLS
(Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) registration preferred.
