PositionOverview

The ITAuditor is responsible for working on audits to supportcompletion of the annual audit plan. This includesperforming audits of IT infrastructure, applications, security protocols, anddata management practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements,internal policies, and industry standards. TheIT Auditor, who may work under the direction and supervision of moreexperienced members of the team, is responsible for assessing IT risks, controls, processes,and systems, developing audit tests, carrying out auditfieldwork, and developing audit findings that summarize audit results.

Roleand Responsibilities

Audit Execution:
  • Execute risk-based audit plans for IT systems, applications, and infrastructure in line with the bank's internal audit methodology.
  • Complete audit test procedures to evaluate the design and effectiveness of internal controls that mitigate IT-related risks, including workpaper documentation to support the audit work performed and conclusions reached.
  • Assess compliance with regulatory requirements and other relevant standards and frameworks (e.g., FDICIA, FFIEC, GLBA, CCPA, NIST, COBIT, ISO).
  • Communicate audit status and audit findings regularly and timely to audit stakeholders (e.g., process owners, management) as well as audit management to ensure there are no surprises and achieve management buy-in.
  • Develop and document audit findings and reports that are clear, concise, well-supported, and identify root causes.
  • Learn to run business meetings that are well organized, efficient, and achieve meeting objectives.
  • Complete assigned audits and projects on time and within budget.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay informed of emerging IT risks, technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the banking industry.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance IT governance, risk management, and control processes.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Maintain collaborative and productive relationships with key business management and audit team members.
  • Work closely with Digital, Technology, & Security (DTS) team members, risk management, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the bank's IT environment.
  • Support IT Audit Manager in providing guidance and advice on IT risk management and internal controls.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in either Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Individuals without these degrees may be considered if they have prior IT audit experience.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are highly desirable.

Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT auditing, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT controls, risk management, and regulatory requirements specific to the banking sector.

**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Pleasanton, CA location in the Heart Failure Division. In Abbott's Heart Failure (HF) business, we're developing solutions to diagnose, monitor and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
As the Quality Engineer II Risk Management, you will Works closely with cross functional teams to establish and ensure compliance and quality for product related risk management documentation. Perform risk assessments and evaluations for products that conform to established standards and agency regulations.
**What You'll Work On**
+ Perform risk evaluations associated with post market data, give guidance to risk evaluations for product development.
+ Perform Health Hazard Evaluations
+ Works cross functionally with development/manufacturing/quality/regulatory/clinical to establish product risk documentation.
+ Demonstrates compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field

+ Medical device, regulatory environment or pharmaceutical manufacturing
+ Credentials of a Certified Quality Engineer

As a senior leader, you will be fully accountable for selling and delivering site investigation and remediation related sediment projects to build a sustainable business regionally and across the US, while also networking with ERM's global SI/RM technical team to share best practices across the industry. Depending on the candidate’s qualifications, this position can be a Partner-track opportunity for a senior-level professional looking to advance their career to the next level with a global environmental leader, and to make a significant impact in successfully implementing ERM's global strategy. RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct and develop feasibility studies, remedial designs, and remedial strategies for CERCLA and other sediment remediation sites.
