Title Account ManagerClassification Exempt (salary)Reports to Client Services ManagerPosition Type Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, overtime as neededJOB OVERVIEW: Valtim Marketing Solutions is a full-service marketing solutions company specializing in multi-channel direct marketing. We are hiring an Account Manager reporting to the Client Services Manager. The Account Manager will ensure delivery of excellent customer service through accurate processing of orders, communication and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquiries. He/she will build and maintain business relationships with clients by providing prompt and accurate service to promote customer loyalty.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieves customer service objectives by contributing customer service information and recommendations to strategic plans and review, preparing, and completing action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems, completing audits, determining system improvements, and implementing change.Responsible for the overall growth, profitability, customer satisfaction and retention of assigned clientsBecome knowledgeable with all Valtim Processes Support project management objectives by executing project setup, task management, inventory setup and processing, component setup, communicating timelines, soft and hard proof approvals, and review of execution through production workflow.Determines customer service requirements by analyzing information and applications, benchmarking best practices, strategically working with the account executive and organizational directives. Improves customer service quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; establishing and communicating service metrics; monitoring and analyzing results; implementing changes.Maximizes customer operational performance by providing help desk resources and technical advice; resolving problems; disseminating advisories, warnings, and new techniques; detecting and diagnosing network problems.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Duties as assigned, measured, and reviewed by Client Services ManagerREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent communication skills including active listening Must demonstrate strong analytical thinking skillsShould possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgement callsProficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.Ability to adapt to frequent changesREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years' experience in customer service roleMail/Print industry knowledge (preferred) BENEFITS Valtim Benefits are competitive and include Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, 401k matching, Profit Sharing, paid holidays, and paid time off for vacation and sick time.
