As a Paramedic, your primary responsibility is 911 response, inter-facility transports, public assistance, and Emergency Department assistance as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and promote cohesive patient care management as a part of a prehospital multidisciplinary team.
- Provide thorough assessment, and treatment of medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies
- Respond to emergency / non-emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the ill and injured
- Safely operating emergency vehicles in high-stress situations, within a variety of responses and road / traffic conditions.
- Assist and provide clinical and technical assessments and treatments as needed, for patient care in the Emergency Department and within the hospital facilities.
- Provide an immediate course of treatment en route to hospital or at the scene
- Frequent use of technical equipment including IV infusion pumps, patient monitors, defibrillators, ECG machines, ventilators, etc. in order to treat, resuscitate, and stabilize patients
- Carry out certain invasive procedures when necessary, and within scope of practice, such as Intubation, IV insertion, Medication administration, Cardioversion, Cricothyrotomy, Thoracotomy, etc.
- Calculation and administration of medication dosages and medication infusion rates in response to dynamic patient conditions.
- Collection and interpretation of diagnostic data, coupled with clinical decision making, with the goal of promoting and restoring patients’ health.
- Continuous monitoring of the patient's condition
- Liaise with members of other emergency services, such as the police, fire departments, Quick Response Units and other ambulance services to ensure the appropriate patient care
Requirements
- Experience:
- 2 years of practical experience in Emergency Medical Services is preferred
- Education:
- High school graduate, GED, or equivalent
- Successful completion of a Paramedic course or equivalent is required.
- Associate of Applied Science or equivalent is preferred.
- Must participate in annual refresher training and continuing education in order to maintain licensure.
- Licensure/Certification/Registry:
- State of Montana Paramedic or Registered Nurse with recent Certificate of Equivalency or Physician Assistant licensure required.
- National (NREMT) certification preferred.
- BLS and ACLS.
- PALS, NRP PHTLS, and EVOC certifications are required within the earliest reasonable offering / within one year.

- No Dialysis experience is required.
- Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.

What you can expect:
- Direct Patient Care. Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Our PCTs care for multiple patients.
- Technician Duties. To monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.
- Building long-term relationships with your patients who are suffering from end stage renal disease and are receiving treatment on average 3 times/week. You will also be responsible for educating patients on Kidney Dialysis related topics.
- Team. Cross functional team of clinicians including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers and leadership. PCTs work under the supervision of a RN.

Functions as part of the hemodialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for assigned patients in accordance with FMCNA policies, procedures, and training and in compliance with regulations set forth by the corporation, state, and federal agencies.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Provides patient care under the direct visual supervision of a Registered Nurse (FMCNA RN) or in a treatment room immediately adjacent to an RN. Responsible for reporting and documenting all new and unusual incidents, information, complaints, or problems to the RN.
+ Promotes and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment. Supports the FMCNA commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAI) Activities; including those related to patient satisfaction and actively participates in process improvement activities that enhance the likelihood that patients will achieve the FMC Quality Enhancement Goals (QEP).
+ Promotes and assists in meeting Total Area Productivity goals (TAP).
+ With documented competency and proficiency may set up and prime equipment as directed by the Fresenius Nurse for renal replacement therapies (hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement and peritoneal dialysis therapies).

+ Responsible for ensuring appropriate safety alarms are enabled including narrow venous limits (NVL 160).
+ Records accurate and timely information regarding vital signs and treatment parameters onto the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet with initial identification.
+ Initiates renal replacement treatment according to prescribed orders including setting blood flow rate (QB) and dialysate flow rate (QD) or peritoneal dialysis as prescribed by the attending nephrologist.
+ Collects, labels specimens and ensures timely delivery to laboratory per facility policy.
+ Evaluates intradialytic problems and provides intervention as prescribed by physician's order or as directed by FMCNA RN. Monitors patient's response to dialysis therapy and report any unusual findings to FMCNA RN.
+ Obtains vital signs prior to reinfusion; performing all relevant functions necessary for the discontinuation of treatment- documentation.
+ Reports any change or unusual findings to FMCNA RN.
+ Performs and document any intervention for unusual patient status and document patients' response to intervention.
+ Evaluates patients' vascular access during treatment including arterial and venous monitoring pressures, provides appropriate intervention as needed, documents and reports any unusual findings to the FMCNA RN.
+ Discontinues dialysis treatment according to established procedures.
+ Evaluates patient prior to termination of venous access - standing and sitting blood pressures prior to termination of venous access. Obtains hemostasis and applies appropriate dressings. Evaluates the patient prior to discharge and reports any unusual findings to the FMCNA RN
+ Performs and records Pre and Post dialysis evaluation, weight and vital signs with initial identification.

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Director of
Clinical Services to lead the development, evaluation, and implementation of
multiple clinical programs and medical services with an emphasis on optimizing
Utilization Management for the Faculty Practice Group (FPG) Management Services
Organization (MSO). Reporting to Chief
Medical Officer of Faculty Practice Group and Medical Group, this role is pivotal in ensuring the
delivery of program functionalities in all aspects of Utilization Management
and its integration with other patient facing programs within the MSO. You will oversee and direct key initiatives,
ensuring that MSO members enrolled in various health plans receive
high-quality, integrated care.
You will:
+ Oversee the development and execution of multiple UM processes and workflows, while continuously identifying and evaluating areas for improvement and potential innovations to be implemented
+ Oversee the development and execution of needed points of integration aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery for MSO members.
+ Ensure seamless integration of various clinical functions with Utilization Management, such as Case Management, Quality Improvement, Credentialing, and Health Plan Relations to improve overall healthcare services and control healthcare costs.
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective program delivery, while supporting value-based care initiatives.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including members, health plans, and clinical teams, to ensure the effective execution of health programs and services.
+ Direct and mentor staff members, ensuring clear communication, effective teamwork, and high-performance standards.
Salary Range: $140,200 - $331,800/annually
Qualifications
We're seeking an experienced leader with:
+ A Registered Nurse License, Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physicians' Assistant), or equivalent
+ Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline, required
+ Master's degree in relevant discipline, highly desired
+ 3-5 years of experience in a clinical capacity (RN, APP, etc.), required
+ 3-5 years of executive leadership experience with a focus on Utilization Management for a medical group, IPA, or Health Plan, required
+ In-depth understanding of managed care, MSO functions, and population health services, required
+ Experience and successful achievement of healthcare MSO certification and recognition programs
+ Strong communication skills with all levels of staff and stakeholders
+ Ability to navigate and perform duties within a complex, matrixed organization
+ Leadership capabilities that demonstrate openness to change and the ability to implement innovative programs that align with strategic initiatives
+ Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Ability to function independently with sound judgement in decision-making and take initiative when needed while appropriately soliciting input or advice

The Patient Service Rep is responsible for positive patient relations, accurate telephone communication, appointment scheduling, patient registration, payment and co-payment collection and overall providing outstanding customer service to patients through the intake of calls and ability to navigate services throughout Cedars Sinai Medical Network. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Provides outstanding customer service through the successful intake, prioritizing, and resolution of calls and patient needs for a multi-specialty team.

+ Assists with the management of physician schedules and finds opportunities for improvement. Handle patient/provider correspondence as instructed.
+ Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.

+ Monitors and assess their own workflow to find opportunities for improvement.
+ Explains policies, procedures, or services to patients using administrative knowledge
+ Participates in daily huddles and staff meetings.
+ Promotes and practice infection prevention standards and all department policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**
**Education:**
High school diploma or GED preferred.
**Experience:**
Two (2) years of experience working as a Patient Service Rep in an outpatient medical office setting preferred.
