**Job Summary/Purpose**
+ Individual shall have demonstrated skill in project controls obtained through working on Utility Infrastructure projects.
+ Supports Project Management team as needed to ensure successful execution of assigned projects by developing and maintaining project reporting, performing project assurance, and delivering cost and schedule certainty.
+ Supports and provides guidance associated with the governance process for Entergy's Stage Gate Process (SGP) and project management standards ensuring standardization and continuous improvement in project delivery across Entergy's Business Units.
+ Promotes safe behavior and adherence to the safety rules on the project.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities**
1. Provides guidance in the various disciplines of project management and control by applying fundamental schedule and cost control techniques.
2. Performs rigorous and independent project assessments of projects within Entergy's project portfolio to ensure compliance with Entergy's SGP and project management standards; serves as a SGP Gate Reviewer.
3. Conducts training on the Entergy SGP, project management standards/implementation guides and various project controls disciplines, such as Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA).
4. Assists in the performance of analysis, optimization, and reporting on Entergy project portfolio including assessments of risk associated with completing planned scopes of work according to multi-year budget plans.
5. Support in the development and maintenance of project schedules, plans, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
6. Identify, analyze and document project schedule and cost variances between planned and earned/actual progress and conclude on possible impacts.
7. Supports the SGP Gate Reviewer analysis by providing data on cost, schedule, progress, risk and processes.
8. Provide analysis of contractor schedule data to identify key project issues, verify contractor progress, and review their performance trends; support Project Admin and Accounting in review of contractor's invoices
9. Collaborates with the project manager and other project team members to identify, characterize and document project risks in a risk register and develops mitigation plans in accordance with the Standards.
10. Takes direction and provides support from project leadership in order to ensure quality cost, schedule, risk management, change management, contract management and reporting.
11. Facilitate and manage the Change Management process and document clearly throughout the project lifecycle; documents and tracks approved project changes.
12. Implement best practices of project management and controls principles on projects of varying segmentations and types of contracts.
13. Creates project portfolio performance metrics and reports performance.
14. Work is performed in both an office setting and in field conditions.
**Minimum Requirements**
**_Minimum education required of the position_**
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management (or related field) OR 6 years equivalent/related work experience (in addition to the Minimum Experience requirement) in leu of a degree.
**_Minimum experience required of the position_**
+ 4 years minimum capital project management and/or project control experience with project controls focus. Utility capital project experience essential.
+ Desired: Project controls experience on large scale capital projects.
+ Desired: Experience of project controls implemented on projects executed under various types of contract agreements including EPC. Both contractor and owner construction project controls experience.

As a Vice President in Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industry Credit Risk, you will partner with a cross functional team delivering credit solutions that support a range of needs from working capital and general corporate purposes to acquisition finance and dividend recapitalizations. Additionally, you will work with family-owned businesses, financial sponsors and some publicly traded companies. This role is responsible for analyzing and structuring new financing solutions as well as ongoing portfolio management in support of a range of needs from working capital and general corporate purposes to acquisition finance and dividend recapitalizations with execution on both a bilateral basis and in the syndicated finance market with a heavy emphasis on the latter. This Vice President position involves extensive interaction with clients, internal partners, legal counsel, and other lenders, etc. This risk management position supports Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries for the Louisiana region which covers companies generally between $20 million and $2 billion in revenues across a wide variety of industries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize excellent credit analysis and financial modeling skills to analyze and structure new transactions and work independently on the assigned credit portfolio. Appropriately assess risks / mitigants, balance risk / reward, diligently manage renewals, amendments and new transactions as well as maintain acceptable credit reporting metrics.
  • Form well thought out, independent views and be able to voice your opinion in a clear, concise manner and to defend that position with partners and senior leadership.
  • Lead complex transactions including negotiations and legal documentation for bilateral and syndicated finance structures.
  • Work proactively, in a constructive, diplomatic manner, with both internal and external contacts to keep transactions moving.
  • Act with a sense of urgency and drive execution to meet both internal and client deadlines.
  • Partner effectively to develop fulsome client relationships, including being looked to as an expert on Structuring and Credit Policy and will be viewed as the "go-to" person for credit by both internal partners and clients.
  • Provide leadership in the market by being a positive contributor to the team, including being a mentor to less experienced team members, embracing change and participating in various projects or improvement exercises for the benefit of the organization.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills both internally and externally and use those communication skills to effectively solve problems.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • BA/BS/BBA degree is required
  • Completion of a major corporate or commercial bank credit training program (or the equivalent corporate banking/corporate finance experience) and a thorough understanding of bank credit policies and procedures
  • At least 6 years' experience in commercial banking/lending including extensive credit analysis, structuring and loan documentation experience
  • Significant accounting and finance knowledge and superior financial modeling skills
  • Strong working knowledge of credit agreements and other loan documentation along with solid negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a proven ability to learn quickly
