Job Summary
TravelCenters of America offers a convenient, one-stop shopping experience to our customers. Each location has a plethora of dining options which gives our guests the variety they look for. The Server is a key member of the restaurant team primarily responsible for providing friendly, accurate, and efficient service to all guests so that we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!

Typical Physical Demands
In this role, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. Summary:
Food Service Cooks are first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. He/She will cook deli products to The United Family's specifications and standards. All duties must be performed in a safe manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest
- Must be able to follow designated food production list
- Must be able to perform designated food production list in a timely manner
- Must be able to perform all cooking functions ensuring that cross contamination never occurs
- Must be able to perform all cooking functions safely
- Must be able to perform closing duties which include working the walk-in coolers and freezers, sweeping, spraying and squeegee floors and leaving work space organized, paying special attention to proper order of product storage
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are performed

- Ability to work in fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
