Advertising Sales Executive

Accountable for managing the sale of advertising space to companies and clients. Carry out suitability checks and survey prospective clients to discover their needs, history in advertising and future preferences.

Responsibilities:
Manage and expand an existing account portfolio.
To maximize revenue spend inside a client base, upsell and cross-sell.
Monthly and annual income targets must be met or exceeded.
Weekly reports on renewals, pipelines and forecasting are provided.
Create new business leads.
Work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure that the company’s goals are met.
Ascertain which product lines attain a high level of brand awareness.
Develop and maintain great client connections, both new and old.

Requirements:
Negotiation and relationship-building skills that have been proven.
Prior experience selling advertising or media is preferred but not required.
Result-oriented.
Prior sales experience (preferably in the B2B sector).
Highly organized and capable of working solo as well as in a group.
Strong communication abilities, including a professional phone demeanor.
Dedicated to a career.
Excellent team player.
Excellent relationship-building abilities.
Experience in outbound sales in the media, marketing, or advertising industries is required.
