Bar Manager

Promote and build the business, hire and train waitstaff, and make sure customers are getting good drinks and service.

Responsibilities:
Maintain the bar’s commercial operations, including maintaining a current liquor license, negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and restocking supplies, budgeting, and goal-setting.
Recruiting and training employees to deliver outstanding customer service.
To ensure that the bar is well staffed during peak hours, create effective schedules and rapidly resolve issues.
Keeping licenses up to date and compliant with current laws.
Working with a varied group of people, both on the staff and among the patrons.
Organizing and participating in promotional activities
Maintaining, ordering and regulating food stockpiles while staying under budget is your responsibility.
Providing fast and efficient service to clients, as well as continually exceeding their food service and value expectations.
Responsible for ensuring the team’s continued success.

Requirements:
A high school diploma is required.
Restaurant or management experience, as well as a higher level of education, is generally preferred.
Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles.
Excellent computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Capability to defuse tense situations and resolve conflicts
Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
