Responsible for product design, prototyping and testing. Designing products using computer-aided design software applications such as AutoCAD, Pro / Engineer and SolidWorks.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate and coordinate design modifications and models with other disciplines.
Design goods that production fits within the constraints of the production machinery available.
Collaborate with sales managers to progress sales inquiries and tenders by determining and realising customer requirements.
Assist with the creation of CAD and design documentation for tender and contract evaluations.
Keep informed of the latest changes in material and machinery technologies
Requirements:
Be able to adapt to change quickly.
Be able to operate independently in a high-pressure atmosphere.
Have a thorough understanding of AutoCAD systems (LT and 3D Inventor are a plus).
Have outstanding communication abilities.
Understand the fundamentals of machinery
