Camp Counselor

Assist youngsters in participating in camp activities and ensure their safety.

Planning and coordinating camp events with other camp staff members.
Leading and assisting campers in age-appropriate activities.
Campers are monitored to ensure that camp rules are followed, and accidents are avoided.
Cleaning, maintaining and ensuring that camp facilities and equipment are used properly.
Reporting and recording information of incidences to parents and camp personnel, such as accidents or rule infractions.
Attending meetings with the team.

High school diploma, equivalent, or current school enrollment.
Experience working in camps, with children, or with certain activities would be preferable.
Additional training, such as first aid and CPR may be required or advantageous.
Physical ability to participate in activities like running, climbing, swimming, lifting, and supporting children’s weight.
Background checks, physical exams, and confirmation of immunizations are all required.
