Finance Intern

Learning about the financial institution’s operations and complexities gives basic assistance to permanent employees. Finance interns should pay close attention to processes, familiarise themselves with record management, and assist with data entry operations.

Responsibilities:
Daily bookkeeping.
Monitoring the bank and allocating payments received to the invoice software.
Ensuring that payables are correct, ie that services and goods were received. Also that payments are made in a timely manner
Assisting the team with ad hoc report production, usually on a monthly and yearly basis at the end of the financial year.
Attention to detail and a solid analytical foundation.
Ad hoc assistance to the team and management.

Requirements:
Analytical. ability to operate as part of a team.
Microsoft Excel is a must-have skill.
Dynamic, with a friendly demeanor and a can-do attitude.
Strong interpersonal communication abilities, including writing and oral communication.
Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
It’s preferable if you’ve used accounting software before.
