Environmental Officer

In charge of managing environmental issues which can range from pollution, pest infestations, waste management and food poisoning outbreaks. In this way they monitor and enforce health and hygiene regulations

Investigating incidents, taking control of the situation and assessing remedial works.
Ensuring remedial plans are carried out to correct standards by carrying out checks and monitoring inspections.
Coordinating contractors and a companies employees to carry out processes both remedial and preventative.
Providing advice to employers about environmental health matters.
Compiling reports on incidents and long term monitoring, with advice about improvements
Delivery Training on adherence to legally required health standards
Serve legal notices
Attend court to provide expert testimony relating to any
