Graduate Project Engineer – Manufacturing

Asssisting the main project manager or taking on small projects. If working as an assistant the scope of responsibility will be directed to one specific area of the project. If the role is not based at the manufacturing location there will be travel required. As for this inexperienced role it tends to involve time at project sites, enabling, monitoring and checking that work is achieved reliably and efficiently.

Evaluate and measure, progress and identify problems
Liaise with suppliers and specialty engineers, as well as the works and site workers
Report back to Project leaders on progress and any as well as the client.
Anticipate and mitigate any potential project hazards by identifying and implementing remedial measures.
Run minor projects on your own or as part of a team on larger projects, adhering to project schedules.
Produce reports and communicate project progress at project meetings.
Maintain and maintain the company’s project engineering records in a way that the Engineering teams may access them.

Ability to read and interpret product designs and translate them into process-related information.
Ability to plan and communicate well, both written and verbally.
Good problem-solving, presentation and analytical capabilities.
