Accountable for managing art production, directing the art team and evaluating all aspects of production from inception to delivery. Will be a seasoned production-oriented artist with a substantial track record in the art industry and excellent creative and technical skills.
Responsibilities:
Effectively adhere to the project’s art vision goals and visual rules, ensuring that all work meets these requirements.
You will help to drive the art communication for this project.
This role will involve presentation skills both to your team and larger parts of the organization.
Promote art culture and relevance throughout the Art department.
Support the implementation of project art direction with other team members and participate in hands-on work.
Collaborate with other disciplines to develop technical and aesthetic guidelines.
Use your experience and expertise to guide and advise the design team throughout the production process.
Artists’ line management.
Identify and report any risks or issues to the Leadership Team as they arise.
Create, establish and maintain the product’s artistic and picture quality.
Requirements:
Interest in and knowledge of art history, as well as current artistic trends.
Experience working in a team or ideally as a Lead Artist.
Capability to work in both 2D and 3D.
Estimating/scheduling experience.
Excellent visual storytelling and pacing skills.
Strong technical skills.
Ability to work in a variety of art styles.
Lead any trials of upcoming visual trends.
Proficient in industry-standard tools such as Maya and Photoshop, with a strong desire to learn new ones.
