Manufacturing Technician

Assembling product parts documenting production data and performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities:
Performing product production and assembly duties as assigned.
Checking the functionality of parts and components for quality.
Putting the finishing touches on the appearance of components.
Adjusting machinery and equipment settings as needed to improve production efficiency.
Minor repairs and reporting faults in a timely manner.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, as well as keeping equipment maintenance logs.
Updating productivity data and, if necessary, creating incident reports
New staff training and supervision
Working with various departments to ensure that production orders are completed on schedule.

Requirements:
GED or high school diploma
A minimum of two years’ experience as a manufacturing technician is required.
Experience with production procedures in a relevant industry is preferred.
Extensive knowledge of quality control techniques and satisfying production requirements.
Computer and office software knowledge is required.
Technical and mechanical prowess.
Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
