Police Officer

Protecting the people and their property, enforcing laws, and investigating all types of crimes are all part of the job.

Responsibilities:
Enforcing laws at the local, state, and federal levels.
Patrolling and responding to calls in assigned geographic zones.
Apprehend and transport suspects.
Interview victims, witnesses, and suspects
Obtaining and documenting evidence
Writing citations, delivering warrants, and testifying in court.
Creating and delivering accurate incident and activity reports being handed to superiors.

Requirements:
GED/high school diploma
Graduate of the police training academy
A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws is required.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
The ability to remain calm and use sound judgment.
Excellent physical condition.
