Principal Engineering Geologist

Accept responsibility for planning, organizing and implementing complex engineering and geology/hydrogeology projects and programs. Lead, organize and review the work of technical and professional staff in a program or project. Manage the design and preparation of the projects.

Responsibilities:

End to end project management
Manage teams and subcontractors, to ensure both a high level of performance along with compliance with legislation and Health and Safety requirements.
Assuring that the work is of the best quality while staying within the allocated budget.
Build and develop a team with the required specialities, depending on the geology requirements
Quality control accuracy of data collected and interpretation and reports
Managing multiple sites and problem-solving
Provide geophysical support and technical advice
Prepare technical specifications

Requirements:
Wide range of experience, knowledge and skills in engineering geology.
Possess strong and agile problem-solving skills
Interpersonal skills from training to mentoring.
Ensure collaborative teamwork with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary environment
Experience in project management including people management, health and safety reports, cost analysis and budgeting.
