Senior Accountant

Oversees general accounting operations and manages and validates our financial transactions. Other responsibilities include adjusting account balances and bank statements, maintaining a general ledger and preparing for end-of-month closing procedures.

Identify, assign, place and adjust creditors and debtors.
Generate error-clear accounting reports and immediate results.
Analyze financial information and review financial statements.
Find mistakes and suggest methods to improve efficiency and spending.
Providing technical support and advice in accounting management.
Review and recommend adjustments to your accounting system and procedures.
Manage accounting and accounting assistants.
Participate in the manner of establishing and forecasting financial standards.
Provides information about the department’s goal-setting process.
Create financial reports and budgets according to schedule.
Support tax audits and tax returns.
Direct internal and external audits to guarantee compliance.
Plan, assign and review staff work.
Supports the end-of-month and year-end closing process.
Create and document business processes and accounting policies to manage and strengthen internal controls.
Confirm compliance with GAAP principles.

Experience as a financial manager, accounting supervisor, chief or senior accountant.
Extensive knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
A deep understanding of frequently accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Knowledge of business trends.
Familiar with financial accounting statements.
General accounting functions and end-of-month / year-end closing process experience
Work experience with accounting software packages such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
Advanced MS Excel skills such as Vlookup and turntable.
Attention to accuracy and detail.
Plants for number and quantity skills.
Accounting, Finance, or Related Bachelor’s Degree.
