Service Clerk

Responsible for providing excellent customer service, cashier duties, information and answering questions about the company’s products and services

Responsibilities:
Greeting customers, inquiring about their needs and directing them to specific items throughout the store.
Giving advice on the products and services of the store or company.
Answering phones and transferring calls to the appropriate department, as well as referring customers to Sales Associates or Managers as needed.
Taking payments, promoting sales items, exchanging items and processing refunds and returns.
Maintaining the cash register area and the front of the store clean and organized.
Responding to and resolving customer complaints
Notifying the Store Manager of any thefts or problems.

Requirements:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
Sales experience will be advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Strong sales skills and knowledge of the company’s products and services.
Basic math skills and the ability to operate a cash register are required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
The ability to assist disgruntled customers in a calm and efficient manner.
Data organization and management abilities are required.
