Tour Guide

Familiarise people with a specific region’s or establishment’s history, functions, and customs

Informing clients about each tour’s itinerary.
Itineraries are planned according to weather forecasts and the length of each tour.
If necessary, plan trips to museums, galleries, protected parks, and other attractions ahead of time and purchase tickets.
If you can’t make it to a scheduled event due to cancellations, closures, or bad weather, make plans to do something else.
Obtaining and maintaining the required tour equipment.
Get to know the layout and history of the region or establishment where you’ll be working.
Familiarizing clients with each region or establishment.

A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
It’s a plus if you’ve worked as a tour guide before.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Observance of safety regulations.
Excellent conversational abilities, as well as a penchant for telling stories.
Friendliness and a sense of humor.
Outstanding time management, organizational, and improvisational skills.
