Travel Manager

Direct, administer, and monitor travel policies, guidelines, and budgets for businesses and travel agencies

Keeping positive relationships with direct travel vendors such as car rentals, hotels, and airlines.
Negotiating preferred rates with direct travel vendors.
Booking flights, hotels, and car rentals, as well as coordinating activities, are all part of the travel planning process.
Managing and processing all travel-related documentation, such as payments, itineraries, visas, medical forms, and legal documents.
Providing assistance with any travel-related issues that may arise.
Investigating travel deals and comparing prices and services.
Organizing travel arrangements for business visitors.
Developing, optimizing, and enforcing corporate travel policies.
Reporting on travel budgets.

Bachelor’s degree in tourism, travel, or hospitality.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel industry is required.
It is preferable to have at least one year of supervisory experience.
A certificate in travel or hospitality may be useful.
Understanding of travel management processes.
The ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with direct travel vendors (existing relationships may be advantageous).
Excellent detail-oriented and organizational abilities.
Communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are required.
