Take orders and deliver food and beverages to customers. Ensure the customer has good service throughout their visit to the restaurant.

Arrange tables and keep the dining room clean.
Set the tables with linens, silverware and glasses.
Keep up to date with daily specials, any menu revisions and service specifications for bookings e.g., parties, birthday celebrations, food intolerances
Greet customers and take them to their tables
Take correct food and beverage orders utilizing POS ordering software, order slips, or memory.
Inform the kitchen staff of the order’s specifics.
Stay attentive to the requests of the guests.
Deliver checks and collect payments for bills.


Be on time and correctly presented in the uniform.
Good customer service skills.
Physical service skills are needed.
Basic knowledge of Math.
Strong team player with a can-do mentality.
Achieve and maintain food hygiene certificates where the employer requires them
