Small dedicated and client-focused immigration law firm in Tucker, Georgia, is seeking a highly experienced and professional Legal Receptionist/Secretary to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing personalized and effective legal services to our clients, and we are looking for a reliable individual to be the first point of contact for our firm.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Receptionist/Secretary with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a legal environment. This dual role position requires a highly organized and personable individual who can manage front desk operations while providing essential secretarial support. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to assist clients.

Responsibilities:

Receptionist Duties:

·         Receive clients and visitors professionally and courteously.

·         Answer calls, take messages, and provide information.

Schedule appointments and manage the firm's calendar.Maintain a clean and organized reception area.Receive and distribute mail, faxes, and deliveries.Manage client intake process, including collecting necessary information and documents.Provide general administrative support, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.

Secretary Duties:

Maintain and organize client files, both physical and electronic.Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, including correspondence, forms, and applications.Assist with the preparation of immigration forms and supporting documents.Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings, managing attorney calendars and deadlines.Prepare and file documents with various government agencies, including USCIS, EOIR, and DOL.Manage and process outgoing mail and correspondence.Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in case management software.Assist with travel arrangements for attorneys and clients as needed.Transcribe dictation and notes as required.Other administrative duties as assigned.RequirementsMinimum of 10 years of experience as a Legal Receptionist/Secretary, preferably in an immigration law firm.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Experience with case management software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize1 tasks in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to maintain confidentiality.2Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.Familiarity with USCIS, EOIR, and DOL filing procedures is highly desirable.Professional appearance and demeanor.Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
