The Regional Sales
Representative, Business Aviation will join the Connected
Aviation Solutions Business Development Team focusing on
new business opportunities within existing and new accounts. You will
call on high-performing flight departments across corporate aviation
and beyond offering satellite connectivity services that are
essential to their success. This role provides opportunities to build
long-lasting client relationships, and the prestige of working in a
dynamic and elite industry. You’ll gain insider knowledge of business
aviation, collaborate with like-minded professionals, and have the
satisfaction of delivering solutions that truly make an impact.
What You Will Do:
- You will work in a
remote capacity, with travel expectations up to 50%
- You will
drive business growth by proactively seeking and capitalizing on new
business opportunities within both existing and new accounts
- You will cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships
within your assigned region, unlocking long-term development and
revenue potential
- You will maximize revenue and loyalty by
expanding account opportunities and fostering strong customer loyalty
through exceptional account management practices.
- You will
monitor and optimize performance by leveraging data-driven insights to
enhance results and ensure continuous improvement.
- You will
identify untapped opportunities by developing and executing strategic
account plans that uncover and capitalize on additional sales
potential, driving significant growth.
- You will respond
swiftly to customer inquiries, resolve issues with urgency, and
propose tailored solutions that meet and exceed customer needs.
- You will conduct impactful sales calls, deliver compelling
product and service presentations, and provide expert support to drive
conversions.
- You will represent the Connected Aviation
Solutions group with authority and expertise at industry conferences
and trade shows.
- You will serve as a trusted advisor in
selling satellite solutions, demonstrating technical knowledge and
consultative sales expertise.
Qualifications You Must
Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and
minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant
experience
- Must have 2 years prior experience in a sales
related position
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer
sponsorship for this position
Qualifications We
Prefer:
- Prior experience with Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce
- Experience with
initiating outbound sales calls and converting leads
- Knowledge of the business aviation industry is preferred, but
not required

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote
roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be
expected to travel to the site location as needed.
*Position
is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a
Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager
will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated
with this role.

The salary range for this role is
96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith
estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers
several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to,
the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work
experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including
but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance,

holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business

Hired applicants may
be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive
compensation programs depending on the level of the position and
whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are
dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to,
individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the
company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based
role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the
appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
