The Manager of Financial Reporting will play a key role in both external and internal management reporting. This individual will work closely with Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, Tax, Regional Finance teams, and the Corporate Accounting team to consolidate and report the Company's results. This individual will be responsible for the preparation and review of the disclosures included in its 10-Q and 10-K as well as assist with internal management reporting, reporting to government agencies, and standalone entity audits. A successful candidate for this role will be strong in both technical accounting and analytical skills and have strong communication skills.
+ Review of consolidated balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and footnotes in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
+ Involvement in the internal reporting process on a monthly basis, including preparation and review of the monthly reporting package and analysis, as well as working with the business unit finance teams to streamline process and improve content
+ Review and prepare as necessary consolidation and intercompany elimination entries
+ Prepare and approve chart of account updates
+ Monitor and analyze accounting data loaded to the system monthly
+ Review support to be provided to external auditors
+ Review and prepare, when necessary, standalone entity external audited financial statements and footnotes on an as-needed basis
+ Assist with the optimization of consolidation and reporting procedures, including reducing the time to close and reporting results
+ Ensure XBRL reporting requirements are met, including establishing best practices
+ Participate in the preparation of materials for the Company's Audit Committee of the Board of Directors meetings
+ Supervise seniors on the team and provide direction and oversight
+ Participate in assigned special projects as needed
Requirements
Experience Required:
+ Minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience in accounting and/or public accounting. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of public accounting experience.
+ Knowledge of the hotel industry and previous SEC and financial experience a plus.
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting
+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
+ Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Hyperion knowledge a plus

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Financial Reporting Senior is part of the External Reporting team. This role will be responsible for the coordination of financial reporting and support SEC filings in compliance with US GAAP reporting standards.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ US GAAP Compliance - Continually provide support to the finance team as we transition from IFRS to US GAAP. Lead the development of tools and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including liaising with other corporate functions.

+ 5+ years of relevant reporting and accounting related business experience, including Big 4 public accounting. Multinational public company, financial services, or leasing company experience a plus.
+ Knowledge and experience researching, interpreting, and applying SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP guidance required.
+ Management experience in a relevant role.
+ SOX and controls experience.
+ Understanding of foreign currency translation issues and international cash flow and project analysis.
+ Financial systems (ledger, consolidation, and reporting tools). SAP, BPC, and Workiva a plus.
+ General systems skills (Excel, Word, Power-point).

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for leading the Company's internal and external financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and disclosures. This role will also support key initiatives related to research and documentation for complex accounting matters and new accounting pronouncements at Lyric. These areas include stock-based compensation, goodwill, intangible assets, derivatives, mergers and acquisitions.
**ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES**
+ Leads key financial reporting initiatives, including key analyses to drive the month-end close process.
+ Functions as main interface with external auditors pertaining to the annual audit and resolution of significant accounting issues and M&A.
+ Works closely with Corporate Controller and Accounting Director on ad-hoc projects.
+ Owns the cash flow forecasting process and oversees all treasury operations.
+ Actively works with third party consultants for assistance in various accounting areas (e.g., valuation specialist, system implementation partners, sales tax, state and federal income tax).
+ Supports the research and conclusion on complex and judgmental accounting topics as well as the review of complex agreements.
+ Prepares quarterly debt compliance package and key commentary for lender calls and monitors existing interest rate swaps.
+ Serves as a subject matter resource for stakeholders within and outside of the Finance organization.
+ Identify and execute process improvements as directed by management.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field
+ 6 years experience working across accounting processes, including complex accounting issues
+ CPA required
+ 3 years of public accounting experience with mix of industry experience
+ 2 years of Netsuite experience or equivalent software
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ 3 years experience working in software, technology, and/or healthcare preferred
+ Extensive knowledge of accounting procedures and U.S. GAAP accounting principles
+ Excel & PowerPoint skills at an intermediate to advanced level
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
+ Identify and execute process improvements as directed by management
***The US base salary range for this full-time position is:
$102,021.00 - $153,032.00
