The Manager of Financial Reporting will play a key role in both external and internal management reporting. This individual will work closely with Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, Tax, Regional Finance teams, and the Corporate Accounting team to consolidate and report the Company's results. This individual will be responsible for the preparation and review of the disclosures included in its 10-Q and 10-K as well as assist with internal management reporting, reporting to government agencies, and standalone entity audits. A successful candidate for this role will be strong in both technical accounting and analytical skills and have strong communication skills.
+ Review of consolidated balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, and footnotes in accordance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
+ Involvement in the internal reporting process on a monthly basis, including preparation and review of the monthly reporting package and analysis, as well as working with the business unit finance teams to streamline process and improve content
+ Review and prepare as necessary consolidation and intercompany elimination entries
+ Prepare and approve chart of account updates
+ Monitor and analyze accounting data loaded to the system monthly
+ Review support to be provided to external auditors
+ Review and prepare, when necessary, standalone entity external audited financial statements and footnotes on an as-needed basis
+ Assist with the optimization of consolidation and reporting procedures, including reducing the time to close and reporting results
+ Ensure XBRL reporting requirements are met, including establishing best practices
+ Participate in the preparation of materials for the Company's Audit Committee of the Board of Directors meetings
+ Supervise seniors on the team and provide direction and oversight
+ Participate in assigned special projects as needed
Requirements
Experience Required:
+ Minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience in accounting and/or public accounting. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of public accounting experience.
+ Knowledge of the hotel industry and previous SEC and financial experience a plus.
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting
+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
+ Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
+ Hyperion knowledge a plus

We are seeking a dynamic **Senior Financial Reporting Analyst** to work from our **Overland Park, KS office** . This role is primarily responsible for the preparation of QTS' consolidated financial statement reporting, technical accounting support and debt compliance reporting. **What You Will Do:**

**What You Will Need to Be Successful:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

The Financial Reporting Senior is part of the External Reporting team. This role will be responsible for the coordination of financial reporting and support SEC filings in compliance with US GAAP reporting standards.

Department Overview
We are seeking an innovative, energetic, and proactive team member to join the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) team within the Global Finance Business Advisory team. You will help support the team that owns the technology product pricing, product cost templates, and communications for a portfolio of technology products/services offered by MCD Global Technology. A vital aspect of this role will be supporting the TCO team in working closely with technology product/service owners assigned to specific product portfolios. You will collaborate with internal teams e.g., Global Technology, Global Finance, Segments, Markets, and other stakeholders to achieve success. We are looking for a candidate who possesses broad thinking, communicates well, is excel-savvy, curious, organized, goes beyond the numbers, and seeks efficient delivery methods. They will work alongside the other TCO team members to deliver a streamlined, transparent, and equitable technology products pricing strategy for McDonald's global technology market charges.
Duties
+ Compile supporting data from multiple sources to record the monthly journal entries for the IT chargeback.
+ Assist with preparing tech chargeback and accrual entries and cascade support to the customers.
+ Support the TCO team in managing technology chargeback-related inquiries via Smartsheet.
+ Be part of various projects and system implementation to enable efficient delivery of the outputs.
+ Maintain detailed product offerings SKU pricing Excel templates, work with inter-company billing team in reporting actual market billings and assist in forecasting the end-of-year cost recovery for each SKU.
+ Manage relationships with internal functions and external teams (as needed), managing monthly, quarterly and annual deliveries while building relationships across functions.
+ Provide regular updates and raise any risks, issues, actions, or decisions as needed to the TCO team leaders.
+ Perform month-end close tasks within 5-day period.
+ Work to continuously improve the existing processes and workstreams (streamlining processes, exploring tools, etc.)
+ Other ad-hoc requests, as appropriate.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or a related degree.
- 3-7 years of related work experience and results-oriented performance.
- Being an advanced user of Excel (i.e., pivot table, look-ups, macros) is necessary.
- Smartsheet experience is a plus.
- Great written and verbal communication skills - both formal and informal.
- Broad thinker with the ability to "connect the dots."
- Brings ongoing curiosity, organization, and willingness to roll up the sleeves in solving issues & determining resolutions.

Responsibilities
+ Manage the preparation and filing of all required periodic reports for the company in accordance with SEC rules and regulations (Form 10-Ks and Form 10-Qs). Collaborate with independent auditors for timely and efficient completion of applicable audits. Also, manage the preparation and filing of all government reports and surveys, as applicable.
+ Research and analysis of new SEC reporting standards and guidance. Coordinate with accounting and technical accounting departments to research and implement new accounting standards and the related reporting and disclosure requirements.
+ Manage the preparation of monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements for the company and other consolidated information and reporting. Collaborate with the company's accounting groups, including North America, Europe and Asia, as well as Affiliates as required to integrate all financial results into the company's consolidated financial statements and address all related reporting requirements.
+ Manage the preparation of all consolidated management reports (Board Report, Flash); collaborate with Investor Relations on preparation of the company's Quarterly Earnings Releases and other investor information and presentations, including data reported on the company's web site.
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance. MBA or Masters in Accounting preferred.

+ 5+ years of relevant reporting and accounting related business experience, including Big 4 public accounting. Multinational public company, financial services, or leasing company experience a plus.
+ Knowledge and experience researching, interpreting, and applying SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP guidance required.
+ Management experience in a relevant role.
+ SOX and controls experience.

The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for leading the Company's internal and external financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and disclosures. This role will also support key initiatives related to research and documentation for complex accounting matters and new accounting pronouncements at Lyric. **ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES**
+ Leads key financial reporting initiatives, including key analyses to drive the month-end close process.
+ Functions as main interface with external auditors pertaining to the annual audit and resolution of significant accounting issues and M&A.
+ Works closely with Corporate Controller and Accounting Director on ad-hoc projects.
+ Owns the cash flow forecasting process and oversees all treasury operations.
+ Actively works with third party consultants for assistance in various accounting areas (e.g., valuation specialist, system implementation partners, sales tax, state and federal income tax).
+ Supports the research and conclusion on complex and judgmental accounting topics as well as the review of complex agreements.
+ Prepares quarterly debt compliance package and key commentary for lender calls and monitors existing interest rate swaps.
+ Serves as a subject matter resource for stakeholders within and outside of the Finance organization.
+ Identify and execute process improvements as directed by management.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field
+ 6 years experience working across accounting processes, including complex accounting issues
+ CPA required
+ 3 years of public accounting experience with mix of industry experience
+ 2 years of Netsuite experience or equivalent software
