Job Purpose The Application Support Associate provides operational support for ARTIDIS systems used in clinical and academic environments. Working as part of the broader Application and Support Team, this role focuses on monitoring device usage, supporting measurement procedures, and assisting healthcare professionals and researchers during day-to-day operation of the system. The role includes on-site and remote support, with travel required (20–40% depending on location in the USA or EU) Duties and Responsibilities Monitor ARTIDIS devices’ operation at clinical and research sites. Support measurement procedures and ensure correct handling of consumables. Provide on-site, shadowing, and remote guidance to system users. Act as the main contact during measurement days for operational support. Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate to support teams when needed. Document issues and coordinate follow-up with internal teams. Deliver user training on-site and remotely. Visit the sites to gather feedback to improve training materials and user experience. Help update training documents (guides, videos, presentations). Collaborate with the support team to refine workflows and documentation. Support onboarding at clinical trial or early access sites. Travel 20–40% to support the service team, sometimes on short notice. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Pathology, Radiology, Oncology, or a related life sciences field (Master’s or PhD is a strong advantage). Experience in clinical, hospital, or academic research environments is preferred. Familiarity with tissue and cell sample handling is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to adapt language and approach when interacting with users from diverse clinical, research, and technical backgrounds. Ability to explain procedures and protocols clearly and empathetically to non-specialist users. Experience supporting or delivering user training, with a strong interest in improving training materials and user-facing documentation. Comfortable working closely with R&D teams to translate user feedback into actionable insights. Capable of contributing to usability studies, including collecting structured feedback and supporting study coordination. Able to write or support the development of user requirements for research tools or regulated medical devices. Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are an asset. JOB SUMMARY

The Application Support Engineer serves as a technical expert on HISD's internal application support team, specializing in provisioning services and support for Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Pages. This role ensures that end users and district departments receive responsive, secure, and well-documented support for their access and automation needs. The Application Support Engineer works closely with the Innovation and Access Services team and provides mentoring, root-cause analysis, and complex troubleshooting to resolve issues across the Power Platform ecosystem.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical support for Power BI, Power Automate, Power Pages, and access provisioning workflows.
2. Resolve complex incidents and coordinate with development or security teams when needed.
3. Design and maintain technical documentation for internal support playbooks and knowledge base articles.
4. Lead testing, validation, and rollout of updates to provisioning and Power Platform tools.

EDUCATION

SKILL AND/OR REQUIRED LICENSING/CERTIFICATION

AECOM is seeking a IT Finance Application Support Supervisor or Manager to join our Corporate Enterprise Applications (IT) team.
_This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include a combination of both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual, to be based in either Dallas or Houston, TX._
This position will be responsible for support, development and implementation of applications that support AECOM finance business users, particularly in the Record-to-Analyze (R2A) functions. Coordinating with AECOM business stakeholders and 3rd party resources, this position serves as the primary contact point and liaison with business user communities. **Primary Responsibilities**
+ Serve as AECOM technology lead/SME for business users across financial enterprise applications.

As a Systems Administrator/ Help Desk Support, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and security of the organization's IT systems. You will work closely with the 3rd party service provider to ensure proper operations of all IT systems to include hardware, software, and networks run smoothly, enabling employees to perform their tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

1. End User Support:
• Provide end user support, resolving problem tickets and implementing requests for new capabilities.
• Provision and decommission user devices, installing/uninstalling standard and ad hoc software.
• Provision and decommission Office 365 user accounts and licenses.

2. User Account Management:
• Create, modify, and delete user accounts in Active Directory or other directory services.
• Manage access control and permissions for users and groups.
• Provide user support for login and authentication issues.

3. System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and resolve them promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine system updates, patches, and upgrades.

4. Network Management:
• Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

6. Backup and Disaster Recovery:
• Work with 3rd party service provider to develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Regularly back up critical data and test restore procedures.
• Ensure data integrity and availability in case of hardware failures or disasters.

7. DNS Records Management
• Collaborate with web developers to manage DNS hosting
• Maintain health of domains across companies/tenants

8. MSP Liaison
• Serve as liaison between 3rd party service provider and company
• Manage upcoming enhancement projects and implementations with 3rd party service provider

9. Virtualization and Cloud Services:
• Work with 3rd party service provider to deploy and manage virtual machines in virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) to deploy and maintain cloud-based services.

10. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Generate reports on system performance, security incidents, and resource utilization.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Help Desk Support or similar role.

**Job Description**
As part of AECOM's Global Enterprise Applications team, this role will be responsible for the smooth running of our time and labor and payroll function and systems, reports and interfaces and will lead a team of internal analysts and outsourced partner resources dedicated to enhancing, supporting, and maintaining line of business applications. This role will report into the IT Director HR and Payroll Systems within the IT Enterprise Applications Team.
_This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute / virtual work, to be based from either Dallas or Houston, TX._
The role will be responsible for all aspects of time and labor and payroll systems software delivery life cycle including planning, design, implementation, and support.
The Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) and Payroll Application Support Senior Manager will also be responsible for identifying, scoping, and implementing quality end-to-end solutions, projects, and enhancements to meet AECOM's technology needs in support of the company's strategic goals as pertaining to time and labor and payroll systems and interfaces. Responsibilities will include:
+ Support and develop a team of direct reports, carrying out all line management duties for these colleagues
+ Manage the IT support ticketing system including incidents, requests for service, and enhancements, manage the team of outsourced delivery partners and internal teams to respond and resolve
+ Manage the change management / change control process for your team
+ Assess overall system behavior and identify positive/negative trends and repeating issues, evaluate and implement solutions
+ Ensure applications configuration/ development and support is aligned with AECOM IT processes, standards, and strategy
+ Adhere to security requirements and processes to maintain highest level of protection for source code, interfaces, passwords, databases, etc.
+ Develop and regularly perform system change audits and validation and follow up with appropriate teams for correction
+ Fulfil ad-hoc application reporting requests or requests for information related to access, or issue resolution
+ Lead regular stakeholder updates including incident/ request/enhancements calls
+ Manage and develop partnerships and relationships with key internal customers and with the wider IT organization

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ BA/BS degree plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant systems support experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including at least 2 years of leadership experience
+ Experience supporting Oracle Time and Labor is required
+ Experience implementing, supporting, and maintaining time and labor and payroll solutions, reports and interfaces preferably in a large, global organisation
+ Extensive hands-on experience in either a technical role, support role, or functional/ configuration analyst role with time and labor and payroll solutions (for example configuring workflows and security set ups, creation of new Time Entry Rules, time calculation preferences and rules, functions, elements and mappings, fast formulas, earning policies etc.)
+ Demonstrable knowledge of the capabilities and features of time and labor and payroll solutions and implementing those
+ Strong project management and business analysis skills and experience including working with the business during design, testing and roll-out
+ Experience of working as a functional lead across large technically complex projects or directly managing small to medium projects
+ Experience designing and documenting business process workflows, business requirements documents, functional design documents and test cases
+ Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques used in IT design and development and experience with various software development life cycle mythologies
+ Customer facing experience, strong ability to facilitate meetings with stakeholders with competing interests, driving agreements and decisions, and determining when and how to escalate appropriately
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in a similarly large, complex, global organization
+ Proven ability to think strategically about technology and recommend solutions that align with business priorities
+ Strong data analysis skills to enable data driven decisions
