Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary to support quality goals and objectives.
Create submittal drawings using AutoCad for customer and manufacturing use.
Create and maintain Revit 3D models.
Develop and maintain an understanding of fire system design and components.
Understand, interpret and apply various mechanical and fire codes/standards.
Consult with customers concerning submittal drawings and technical support issues relating to design and performance.
Occasionally create design information using HELP design software.
Occasionally create displacement design information using HDV design software.
Consult with customers concerning all Halton products.
Interpret and generate electrical schematics.
Troubleshoot problematic systems.
A thorough understanding of UL and ETL listings.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience
An Associate's Degree or higher and/or a minimum of 3 years AutoCad experience with a High school diploma or general education degree and related experience and/or training
Additional experience and internal education concerning Revit, products, processes and procedures
Have a clear understanding of computers and ability to navigate various software packages including: Navision, Microsoft Office and Design Software

What You’ll Be Doing:

Designs and develops software solutions to meet business requirements. Manages full software development life cycle including testing, implementation, and auditing. Performs product design, bug verification, and beta support, which may require research and analysis. Operates under moderate supervision. Usually reports to the Manager of Software Development.

Execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications. Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion.

Coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle. Participate in software upgrades, revisions, fixes and patches as mandated by the vendor.
What We Are Looking For:
