RESPONSIBILITIES
Working under the guidance of our Professional Engineers, you will support various drawing elements including layouts, details, diagrams, and sketches. You will play an active role in multiple aspects of projects, including design, phasing, and budget planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating detailed drawings, designs, grading, volume calculations, and quantity analyses using AutoCAD - Civil 3D.
- Assisting with design, phasing, and budget planning projects.
- Developing construction record drawings for gas collection systems, landfill caps/liner systems, and stormwater controls using AutoCAD - Civil 3D.
Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of experience with AutoCAD - Civil 3D.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Experience in landfill design, Pipe 2000, stormwater design/sampling, and compliance is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Capable of thriving in a small office environment while being reliable to team members.
- Able to meet project deadlines efficiently.
EDUCATION
- Associate's Degree and/or Trade School experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting.

Primary Function
Perform drafting duties using basic drafting skills and techniques for medium/high voltage substation or transmission line drawings. Assignments are closely supervised and are designed to develop the employees understanding of drafting techniques, corporate/client standards, and procedures. Drafters will either be dedicated to Electrical, Transmission, or Civil/Structural design projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:
- Revise CADD drawings per engineering markups
- Perform engineering support tasks under direct supervision (e.g. transmittals)
- Learn and apply the corporate/client standard of drafting and engineering practices
- Learn and properly use document management systems
- Take personal responsibility for the quality and accuracy of his/her work
- Bring potential project-related problems and possible solutions to the attention of the responsible party
- Travel out of town for short periods of time as required by projects and assignments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Associates degree in drafting & design is required. A certificate in drafting & design with relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an associates degree.
Possess Skills In The Following Areas
- Experience with AutoCAD 2010 and newer is required.

As a condition for payment, a Vendor shall have OHLA USA Inc.s Personnel Agreement and a Job Order signed by an authorized OHLA HR representative. Verbal or written communications from any employee of OHLA and its subsidiaries shall not be considered binding obligations. All resumes, whether unsolicited or solicited, shall be the property of OHLA.
