**PURPOSE**
The Regional Account Director (RAD) is accountable to drive the strategic account plan in Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and Accounts in the effort to unlock sales growth opportunities by removing any barriers to use in the setting of care. You will establish a comprehensive Strategic Account Business Plan aimed at creating long- and short-term sales growth and coordinates pull-through across other cross functional team members (across therapeutic area and roles) calling on the account. You will create Advocates and Champions throughout the Account by building strategic relationships with health system stakeholders and administrators.
The position will report into the Area General Manager, but will also collaborate with the National Account Directors, the Sales Team as well as Cross Functional partners in Market Access, HEOR, Marketing and Medical.
The position is residence based. The candidate must be domiciled within the territory and preferably within the Charlotte area as that is the center of the territory.
**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The primary responsibilities of this role, Regional Associate Director- Health System & Population Health are to:
+ Integration and Access Management: Ensure integration and on-label access within account-level decision-making platform tools (EMRs, formulary, account-level pathways, order sets, etc.), using on-label resources related to portfolio products and cross-functional matrix team support to drive top-down demand at the enterprise level;
+ Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute the strategic account plan across the enterprise and lead the execution of the plan in alignment with cross functional stakeholders (Medical, Market Access, Sales Leadership etc.);
+ Local Pull-Through: Coordinate pull-through of the account strategy by mobilizing cross-functional Bayer team to achieve short- and long-term account sales objectives;
+ Stakeholder Identification & Management: Identify key decision makers in the account and create Advocates, Clinical and Business Champions to achieve the desired outcomes and goals across the account;
+ Collaboration and Cross Functional Partnership: Coordinate efforts across the cross functional Bayer team to achieve short- and long-term account objectives. Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to achieve shared Account Objectives. Act in tandem with NAD, Market Access, Medical and Sales to strengthen relationships with key healthcare systems;
+ Account Partnership: Identify compliant opportunities to expand the business across Bayer's Cardiovascular Renal (CVR) portfolio that aligns with the Accounts patient's care and improves the patient and provider experience with Bayer's CVR product portfolio;
+ Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive activities to inform strategy;
+ Internal collaboration: Work collaboratively across all team members (across therapeutic areas and roles, incl sales, Market Access, HEOR, marketing and Medical) in the effort to harvest the full power and knowledge of the team working across the account;
+ Execute National Pull-Through: Contribute to shaping and execute the Area-wide pull-through of the national account strategy as guided by the National Account Director.
**WHO YOU ARE**

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelor's degree;
+ Demonstrated expertise in building network and relationships across stakeholders in IDNs and accounts;

+ Excellent facilitation and verbal/written communication skills;
+ Exceptional collaboration skills and demonstrated success in working cross functionally in matrix environment;

+ Ability to comply with any customer credentialing and safety requirements (e.g., up-to-date vaccinations, trainings);
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Advanced degree (preferably in the Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or business-related field);
+ 5+ years of successful Account Management experience in pharma or healthcare-related field;
+ 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical account management in the IDN or Hospital channel;
+ Experience in establishing and pulling-through in-patient to out-patient protocols.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $161,216.00 - $241,825.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.

**PURPOSE** **AND** **SCOPE:**
Functions as part of the dialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse in accordance with organization policies, procedures, and training and in compliance with regulations set forth by the corporation, state, and federal agencies. Responsible for the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines. Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment. Supports the organization commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and CQI Activities, including those related to patient satisfaction and actively participates in process improvement activities that enhance the likelihood that patients will achieve the organization Quality Enhancement Goals (QEP).
**PRINCIPAL** **DUTIES** **AND** **RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Patient Related**
Education:
+ Assist other health care members in providing patient specific detailed education regarding adequacy measures where appropriate - Online Clearance Monitoring (OLC), Adequacy Monitoring Program (AMP), Urea Kinetic Modeling (UKM), and regarding disease process/access.
Treatment:
+ Welcome assigned patients and inquire as to their wellbeing since their last treatment.
+ Evaluate vascular access for patency, perform vascular access cannulation, and perform administration of heparin as delegated or as allowed by state law.
+ Obtain necessary pre and post treatment vital signs and weight and perform vascular access evaluation pre- treatment
+ Initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including blood flow (QB) and dialysate flow (QD).
+ Evaluate intradialytic problems and provide intervention as prescribed by physician order or as directed.
+ Monitor patients' response to dialysis therapy.
+ Obtain vital signs prior to reinfusion; perform all relevant functions necessary for the discontinuation of treatment - document.
+ Discontinue dialysis treatment according to established procedures and evaluate patient prior to termination of venous access - standing & sitting blood pressure
+ Obtain Hemostasis and apply appropriate dressings.
+ Evaluate the patient prior to discharge.
+ Perform and record Pre and Post dialysis evaluation, weight, and vital signs with initial identification
+ Responsible for calculating and entry of individual patients' dialysis machine programming for Ultrafiltration (UF) goal; treatment time; and UF modeling as prescribed.
+ Responsible for ensuring appropriate safety alarms are enabled, including Narrow Venous Limits, (NVL) 160.
+ Record accurate and timely information regarding vital signs and treatment parameters onto the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet with initial identification
+ Responsible for accurate documentation of information related to patient treatment including completion of Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and, if applicable, progress notes.
+ Report any significant information and/or change in patient condition directly to the registered nurse or supervisor.
+ Observe patient and conduct machine safety checks according to facility policy. Report any change or unusual findings to the registered nurse or supervisor.
+ Perform and document any intervention for unusual patient status and document patients' response to intervention.
+ Evaluate patients' vascular access during treatment including arterial and venous monitoring pressures, provide appropriate intervention as needed, document and report any unusual findings to the registered nurse or supervisor.
+ Obtain all prescribed laboratory testing and prepare specimens for collection.
+ Ensure that all blood spills are immediately cleaned with appropriate disinfectant according to facility policy.
+ Prepare, organize, and efficiently utilize supplies and equipment to prevent wastage.
+ Monitors patients performing self-care under the supervision of RN.
**Staff Related**
+ Assists in training of applicable direct patient care staff on appropriate programs under the supervision of a nurse.
**Education/Communication:**
+ Follows all organization business policies, procedures and systems incorporated into training, including compliance with ethical business practices
+ Maintain environmental integrity and aesthetics - ensure all areas are safe and clean.
+ Clean and disinfect dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment, and surrounding area between treatments according to facility policy.

**RECORD KEEPING:**

+ Enters all treatment data into the designated clinical application in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Review treatment sheets for completeness, ensure nursing signatures are documented, and ensure
omitted entries are completed or corrected by appropriate staff.
+ Prepare initial patient chart for admission and compile paperwork for appropriate placement in chart.
+ Prepare/print lab requisitions for prescribed or stat Lab specimens according to laboratory destination.
+ Collect, label, appropriately prepare and store lab samples according required laboratory specifications.
+ Ensure collection of lab specimens by appropriate lab courier.
**INFECTION CONTROL:**
+ Assists in collecting information for infection control audits.

+ Sets and preforms a treatment on all machines used in the transitional care unit.
+ Assist in assuring patient understanding of treatment options including demonstration of the peritoneal dialysis set-up.
+ Assists with coordination of transition to patient's modality choice.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing program required, and masters' level education required (MSN or MBA) OR willingness to pursue masters' education.
    A minimum of 5 years RN experience in professional/patient services.
    Two years in a leadership role of clinical leadership/operations management.
    Minimum of five years effective communication, customer service, project planning, performance improvement, staff development and financial management skills.
    Computer literacy, with ability to use Outlook, Internet Explorer, and report writing capabilities, is preferred.
    Must be able to adjust schedule to accommodate needs of all shifts. Must be able to complete job related competencies as deemed necessary to the performance of the RN role in the nursing department of employment.
