We're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Executive Director to lead our Payment Brand Implementations (PBI) Product Delivery team-a critical function within our Acquiring Product organization. This team ensures our global acquiring platform is compliant with evolving payment network mandates, accurately implements interchange & fee changes and custom merchant pricing rules, and delivers with speed and quality.
The scope includes managing brand-driven changes from major networks (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), regional debit schemes (U.S. and Canada), and emerging local networks like Carte Bancaires (France) . The team is also responsible for building tools to monitor releases, detect anomalies, and validate changes that impact payment processing and merchant billing.
This leader will oversee a global team of 40 professionals across the US, EU, and India. A key part of the role is to drive delivery of innovation-by introducing scalable automation, validation, and intelligent processing capabilities that help us deliver faster, with greater accuracy and lower risk.
**Job responsibilities**
+ Lead the global review, decisioning and delivery of payment brand network mandates and initiatives including interchange & fee changes, authorization & clearing changes, new feature launch and data integrity items.
+ Partner with internal teams and card networks to manage mandate waivers, assess delivery risks, and prioritize backlog based on impact.
+ Ensure accurate configuration and implementation of custom interchange rules for merchants with direct network agreements.
+ Drive continuous improvement in the post-release monitoring and validation tools used to proactively detect issues in payment processing or billing outcomes.
+ Identify and implement opportunities to automate and accelerate delivery using modern tools and techniques, delivering efficiency by reducing manual effort and cycle time.
+ Foster a high-performing global team culture focused on accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ 12+ years of experience in product delivery, platform leadership, or network compliance in payments, fintech, or acquiring.
+ Deep understanding of the acquiring transaction lifecycle-authorization, clearing, settlement, interchange, and billing.
+ Proven success delivering brand mandates and pricing updates across multiple payment networks and systems.
+ Strong track record building scalable validation, testing, or monitoring frameworks in regulated environments.
+ Experience leading global, cross-functional teams in matrixed organizations
+ Exceptional communication skills and comfort working across product, engineering, legal, and network partners.
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
+ Recognized thought leader within a related field
+ Experience working with network mandate portals (e.g., Visa Business News, Mastercard MIP).
