**Responsibilities**
+ Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
+ Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
+ Install and perform tire maintenance.
+ Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
+ Road test vehicles.

**Base Pay** **:** Starting at $24/hr with earning potential up to $37/hr
As a **Maintenance Technician** , you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by trouble shooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of all tire-related manufacturing, processing machinery and equipment. You will also be responsible for related safety and housekeeping obligations throughout the facility.
+ Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected.
**Shift Information:** 12-hr shifts, rotating every 2 weeks
+ 2-2-3 work schedule (one week you would work Monday and Tuesday, off on Wednesday and Thursday, then work Friday- Sunday. Following week would be the opposite - off on Monday and Tuesday, work Wednesday and Thursday, off on Friday-Sunday.)? **Work Environment:** Tupelo, MS Plant

+ Perform maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of equipment to ensure optimum operating conditions and uptime across all related crafts
+ Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain machines and drive power distribution systems, instrumentation, hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems
+ Perform PLC maintenance issues
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic and other mechanical issues
+ Interpret blueprints, sketches, maintenance manuals and manufacturing specifications
+ Cut, form, thread, fit and install piping for air, water, steam, oil nitrogen, gas, and other lines
+ Prepare and weld in flat, vertical, or overhead positions with multiple technologies
+ Use gas torches or other equipment to cut structural stock for fabrication
+ Log or use computerized?work order?system?for repair and maintenance activities performed
+ Abide by safe work standards including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Fall Protection, Confined Spaces, and appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), NFPA 70E (Arc flash)

**Position Summary.**
**What you'll do.**
At Walmart, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations to oversee the predictive and preventative maintenance of our facilities within a regional area. In this role, you'll lead a team of dedicated technicians, ensuring our buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our associates and customers.
**Role Detail:**
+ Oversees all general predictive and preventative maintenance of overall building (Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, etc.) for multiple facilities within the region. (Usually less than 200-mile radius)
+ Directly leads technicians that conduct the hands-on maintenance at the facilities. (10 - 15 Direct Reports)
+ Would require approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
+ Leads, motivates, and develops technicians
+ Works directly with Store Managers on their facility services needs
+ Leads daily calls with technicians and holds them accountable
+ Oversees budget
+ Manages and evaluate workload
+ Ensure tickets are being escalated properly
