Dual General Manager
The General Manager will lead all aspects of operations for the dual-branded Envue Hotel (Tribute Portfolio) and Residence Inn by Marriott in Weehawken, NJ. This high-volume, union property demands a proven leader with exceptional knowledge of Marriott systems, brand standards, and union labor relations. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience in revenue management, full-service operations, and group and catering performance, and will be capable of fostering a high-performing, service-driven culture.
What You'll Do:
+ Oversee daily hotel operations for both Envue and Residence Inn brands.
+ Lead all departments to meet service, quality, and operational goals.
+ Build and maintain a high-performance leadership team.
+ Ensure achievement of revenue targets, GOP, and NOI.

About You:
+ 2+ years as a General Manager with Marriott.

+ Experience managing a hotel with 5,000+ sq ft meeting space and 1M+ in catering revenue.
+ Progressive hotel leadership roles over the last 10 years.

- Prepares monthly reporting of Portfolio Management Book of Work providing a complete preview of all deliverables due in the coming 30 to 60 days.
- Facilitates the completion of all regulatory country compliance, data privacy impact, and legal compliance reviews to ensure all engagements are compliant with the Corporate TPO Program.
- Supports internal and external audit RFIs relating to Vendor Management and Third Party outsourcing.
- Perform Quality Checks on information in the appropriate corporate tools to ensure systems are up to date with information that aligns to the contracts.
- Validate application information from the corporate application Inventory repository to ensure alignment with the appropriate vendor engagement details.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 5+ years of experience in a vendor or TPO oversight, risk/controls, or audit related role is required.
- Recent experience in vendor portfolio management, delivery management, 3rd party risk management, sourcing, TPO, and/or vendor management.
- Experience with onboarding new vendors, inherent risk ratings, vendor performance scorecards, 3rd party IT Risk assessments, contract reviews, regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across organizational and geographical boundaries.
- Strong control orientation, analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read a contract and validate required information.
- Experience in a matrix management framework - i.e. manage by influence without direct authority.
- Identify and implement best practices, process improvements and automation, leveraging industry best practices.
- Superior communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build rapport, garnering respect and appropriately exercising authority in a collaborative cross-cultural environment.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Products. Confluence and/or JIRA experience a plus. Experience with procurement tools (Ariba or similar) and IT Risk Management tools (Archer or similar).
