Your Mission:

AfterShip is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing team. You will be expected to bring innovative ideas and creative strategies to fuel AfterShip's marketing engine growth and front-line enablement.

You will bring your prior experience in SaaS software marketing, and knowledge of the eCommerce industry to help craft positioning, messaging, lead go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and sales enablement. As you play a significant part in our team's success, you will have a high-visibility, high-impact opportunity that allows you to exercise your strategic vision, business acumen, storytelling skills, and technical expertise.

The ideal candidate would describe their approach to work as 'customer-centric', you go the extra mile to develop an intimate understanding of actual (not perceived) customer and prospect needs and learn everything you can about the latest (and evolving) state of the target market. You possess the skills and perception to be a strategic, holistic and multidimensional thinker and natural storyteller.

This role is part of AfterShip's Global Marketing team, reporting into the team lead of Product Marketing based in APAC. As such, there may be the need to work outside of regular office hours for team meetings or in order to collaborate with members of the team in APAC up to twice a week.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop an in-depth technical understanding of AfterShip's products and features, acting as a subject matter expert cross-functionally.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on the creation of high-quality product collateral including sales decks, product use cases, solution briefs, messaging guides, case studies, web content, blog posts, and other assets to maximize the effectiveness and diversified use of our products in the market.
  • Drive GTM strategies and cross-functional coordination to facilitate rapid and successful product and solution launches, positioning and sales enablement materials.
  • Stay on top of the industry trends, new technology, competitor dynamics and ecommerce best practices to provide insights on GTM plans and enhance product messaging.
  • Fuel our marketing engine and generate revenue demand with impactful, data driven product positioning, messaging and thought leadership.
  • Leverage a variety of data feedback loops to plan and execute user research programs and complete user journeys to distill insights and refine our profile target personas.
  • Additional responsibilities and duties as required.

Who We're Looking For :

  • 4+ years of B2B product marketing experience; 2+ years of proven and demonstrable experience in industry solution GTM and product launches
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or technical discipline, or equivalent years' experience (MBA or equivalent experience preferred but not required)
  • Prior experience working within a high-growth SaaS company is required; experience in sales enablement and asset creation in eCommerce industry is required; And experience in AI is strongly preferred
  • Enthusiastic spokesperson/product marketing ambassador with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively create compelling written content
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyze market data for informed decision-making
  • Capable of working proactively and independently, as well as collaboratively
  • Experience in global cross-functional collaboration to drive key initiatives, with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Capable of cultivating an in-depth understanding of complex technical products, then simplifying and packaging them for a variety of personas and markets

Our problem space covers concurrent workflows across distributed systems (linearizability, eventual consistency), big data problems (propagation delay, ordering and hygiene) and performance (search optimization). Our team uses the latest AWS products and services to solve our problems including but not limited to: ECS, Fargate, EC2, EMR, Lambda, Kafka, Elastic Search, Dynamo DB, SQS, SNS, Cloud watch, CDK, Cloud Formation and many more.

SUMMARY:
Creates marketing plans, online content, and business correspondence to support the Marketing Strategy & Planning team on all campaign planning tasks and aligns cross-functional campaign activation teams to deliver business results.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
  • Develops and manages the execution of small to medium-sized marketing campaign plans throughout the entire campaign lifecycle to meet corporate goals and objectives.
  • Reviews and analyzes data from various sources and provides key insights to determine real-time improvements and overall effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Leads cross-functional campaign teams to drive the implementation of integrated marketing plans for small to medium-sized campaigns.
  • Partners with the Marketing Strategy and Planning team to ensure that campaign plans are running as planned, including confirming that marketing teams deliver on time and as intended.
  • Ensures the quality of deliverables conforms to Nintendo of America (NOA) standards (legal/ESRB compliance, marketing strategy, etc.).
  • Maintains visibility across all NOA product and service offerings, including hardware systems, software titles, digital content, digital services, accessories, and mobile; recommends and implements marketing integration opportunities between products and services.
  • Contributes to process improvement initiatives by identifying issues and making recommendations.
  • Tracks campaign budgets, marketing ROI, and sales performance.
  • Contributes to PDCA process and recommends/develops resulting action plans.
  • Partners with the Marketing Strategy and Planning team to prepare presentations summarizing campaign strategies, creative, key performance metrics, and actionable insights.
  • Presents campaign plans and recaps to the marketing organization and executive management as needed.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of four to six (4 to 6) years of relevant marketing and/or project management experience.
  • Possesses analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to manage programs and collaborate with teams across multiple projects and remote offices/locations.
  • Experience working with all levels to define problems, draw valid conclusions, and execute solutions.
  • Video Game industry experience is a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field preferred.
