Department Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead Data & Insights within the U.S. Market Technology Operational Excellence function. This role is responsible for building the future of restaurant technology and business operations reporting for McDonalds US. You will play a critical role in developing insights to enhance technology performance, reduce reliance on help desk support, and deploy technology across 13,000+ restaurants.
This role requires on-site presence at McDonald's Headquarters (MHQ).
Responsibilities
The US Market Tech, Data Insights Sr. Manager will:
+ Lead data usage within the team and across the department. Enforce best practices and advance strategic goals of how to and leverage data.
+ Implement a proactive approach to analytics and tool integration to support the US Market Technology Team's mission of keeping restaurant technology healthy.
+ Lead data KPI standardization across Market teams by mentoring, training, and building strong relationships and with team members.
+ Identify emerging trends, establish alerting, and partner with the Proactive Support team to understand business impact.
+ Partner with US Market teams to lead the building of data products and providing data continuity through ongoing projects.
+ Support major business initiative launches so that decisions can be made by using data and facts while maximizing impact.
Core Responsibilities:
+ Define and execute our data architecture strategy, ensuring we are futureproofing and leveraging best in class technology (cloud solutions, AI, etc.)
+ Partner with other US Market teams to provide the following, including not limited to:
+ Analytics and metrics for high performing and low performing restaurants.
+ Monitoring and alerting of known restaurant health and problem data with continued evolution of the platform.
+ Analytics that support diagnosis of a problem's root cause and business impact.
+ Established standard KPIs across teams and maintenance as business needs change.
+ Engage global counterparts to create cross-market standards to drive towards a single source of truth standard for reporting.
+ Enhance and streamline data pipelines and reporting capabilities to maximize value.
+ Train and mentor direct reports and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment.
+ Provide status updates to management and key stakeholders. Provide details to support leadership presentations and quarterly business reviews.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
+ 6+ years of experience in the data and analytics field, including experience with: Data Engineering, Data Sciences and Analysis, Product Ownership, Process Improvements, Project Management
+ Detail-oriented, well organized, analytical and with independent reasoning and problem-solving skills
+ Creativity in taking on complex tasks head on and generating solutions to complex issues.
+ Ability to operate in ambiguous environments while driving towards a common goal.
+ Clear, professional, and informative communication style

The expected salary range for this role is $149,260 - $190,310 per year.
