This is a full-time, hourly position.
We are looking for a high potential individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities within our Maintenance department at the Corpus Christi, TX Grain facility.
**Assignments**
Potential assignment may include, but are not limited to:
+ Daily maintenance work on equipment and machinery both routine and complex
+ Operation of powered industrial equipment (Skidsteer, forktruck, etc.)
+ Troubleshoot mechanical failures
+ Installation of large equipment with hoists and/or cranes
+ Fabrication
**Qualifications**
To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
+ Must be able to understand and follow company safety procedures
+ Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
+ Willing to work weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime, and 2nd shift if needed
+ Team player that displays the initiative and drive to work alone
+ Electrical knowledge and welding experience are preferred
+ Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card (transportation worker identification card)
+ High Mechanical Aptitude
+ Able to meet physical requirements including: prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, working in confined spaces or from heights, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dusty, etc.), and the ability to lift 50lbs. unassisted
+ Ability to Multitask
+ Exhibit a professional image; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
