You will be responsible for overseeing cold storage operations during 3rd shift but hours are flexible and will be discussed with upper management. Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage cold storage warehouse staff, including training, task delegation, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
+ Collaborate with EHS and Food Safety/Quality teams to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
+ Oversee sanitation procedures to maintain cold storage quality and cleanliness.
+ Ensure team members are properly trained on warehouse equipment (e.g., hand trucks, clamp trucks).
+ Manage inventory organization and rotation, ensuring FIFO standards are followed.
+ Monitor and coordinate inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels.
+ Work cross-functionally with Production and Logistics teams to streamline product corrugation, shipment, and customer deliveries.

Summary:

Pay Range:
$65,000.00k - $67,000.00 annually
*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. Potential to earn 40K-100K+ dependent upon volume, location, and contract work accepted. Settlements process weekly.
AIT Home Delivery offers the ultimate level of customer care for the final mile delivery of consumer goods.
Our dedicated teams of contractors offer fast and reliable business and home services for many high-end companies sending goods directly to consumers.
ResponsibilitiesWork involves line haul recoveries and B2B pick up and delivery.
Service levels to be performed:
- Recoveries
- Business and residential delivery. Must have "inside" delivery capabilities
We are looking for the following companies with the following:
- Must own a clean and secure warehouse/dock/facility in the market
- Must be able to recover shipments from line haul providers
- Can provide coverage in an 80-mile radius of your facility
- Ability to store various size insulated corrugated containers
- Ability to store dry ice bin & freezer for gel paks
- Warehouse staff to overpack & label perishable shipments
- Ability for drivers to return to warehouse to pick up packing materials & refrigerant to make perishable pickups same day
- Drivers to pre-pack shipments at shipping location to maintain cold chain integrity
- Ability to tender overpacked shipments same day to integrators/airlines/line haul carriers to make lockout
- Either have temperature-controlled trucks or ability to rent them with short notice
- Clean vehicles: sprinter vans, straight trucks, liftgate
- Ability to run hotshots/milk-runs
- Hazmat certification/training
- Inside delivery capability

- Must comply with vehicle registrations, DOT/med card, and state laws as applicable for the commercial vehicle(s) being used to complete work.
- Vehicle liability insurance-CSL insurance varies based on vehicle weight.
- DOT Safer rating of Satisfactory at minimum. (no conditional ratings will be processed)
- Must have an EIN (federal tax ID).
- You must be an asset base company and/or own and maintain your own vehicle and tools needed for the completion of the work offered.
- Must have good customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be good with technology and use proprietary system (AIT) for:
- Status updates
- POD
- Billing
