Responsibilities
Electrical Superintendents’ responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Supervise construction projects. Perform daily inspections of work performed. Act as liaison and coordinator between contractors. Solve problems that arise. Establish budgetary guidelines for the job, and ensure that cost control measures are being followed. Provide job safety training and awareness for all personnel. Establish quality standards of all jobs, and ensure that all quality assurance and company standards are being met. Develop and manage job schedules (e.g. three week, 90 day, man loading), coordinate work with contractors and deliveries with suppliers and ensure inspections are scheduled appropriately.
Since our projects are located nationwide, multiple relocations are required on an as needed basis.
Qualifications
• A minimum of five years experience as General Foreman or Superintendent
• Management of union labor a plus
• Direct and supervise crews
• Broad understanding of technical electrical systems, including but not limited to:
o Underground layout and installation
o Instrumentation installation
• Above ground systems layout and installations, including but not limited to:
o Conduit installations within hazardous locations
o Cable tray systems
o Cable pulling in conduit and tray
• Experience managing 20-50 craft employees at one time
• Prepared to attend meetings with customers and owners/general contractors

We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to join our talented team at our office in Irvine, California .
In this role, you will lead specific construction site activities, including specific trades, and manage parts of the field operations on projects. You will be responsible for supporting the Project Director, Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Senior Superintendent in the oversight of work progress, subcontractor manpower, and correct work coordination between the trades.
The primary focus of this position is to assist in ensuring that the subcontractor and vendor work is completed safely and in compliance with the contract documents and project schedule. Further, this position is responsible for collecting and assembling on-site testing reports, inspection reports, and the completion of Construction Completion Records for close-out documentation to the IPS Commissioning/Validation team and client.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assumes primary responsibility for activities associated with specific trades on assigned construction sites.
- Ensures achievement of corporate goals for assigned projects.
- Assists with the development and maintenance of project schedules, including targeted and actual activities lists, durations, and sequencing logic.
- Develops a working knowledge of the project budget for assigned trades and identifies exceptions to the project budget throughout the execution of the project.
- Supports the Project Director and Project Manager in the development of change control documentation and related financial documentation.
- Participates in constructibility reviews of design documents.
- Assists with the procurement and coordination of all required extra-corporate project resources.
- Evaluates the legitimacy of the request in terms of contractual requirements and validity of the cost estimate.
- Facilitates communication between subcontractors, vendors, and project personnel, and produces documentation of communication between project participants.
- Helps ensure that all submittals are distributed, reviewed, and stored to meet project and corporate requirements.
- Assists in ensuring compliance of project activities with legal and regulatory requirements.
The salary offered for this role is between $112,800 and $150,400 but the actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set, and education.
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Delivery or a related discipline.
- Experience with Life Sciences/Biotech/Pharmaceutical Manufacturing projects is required
Safety
- This position will have 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project.
- You may be assigned to a client site for an extended period of time.
- Overnight travel or staying in the city of the Client's location is possible depending on the assignment.
- You will visit Client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules.

Key Responsibilities/Skills- Manage, scan, and enter invoices into TimberScan
- Maintain accounts payable aging reconciliation
- Run and analyze the open report on a weekly basis
- Ensure three-way match compliance
- Setup and maintenance of vendor accounts
- Successfully manages all vendor responsibilities
- Reconciliation of accounts on hold
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Adherence to department KPIs
- Work collaboratively with other colleagues in all regions
- Handles all vendors and internal staff correspondence via phone or email
- Communicate with vendors and internal staff members in a courteous and professional manner
- Assist specialist and manager with miscellaneous tasks

Compensation: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
