Reporting into the Senior Leader for BI and Analytics, you will help turn raw data into actionable insights that guide strategy and fuel innovation.

About the Role:

As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Lakeview Digital, you'll bridge data and business strategy-deciphering customer needs, solving ambiguous problems, and crafting solutions that elevate the homeownership experience. You'll work cross-functionally to build scalable, trustworthy data products that help business and product leaders make informed, data-driven decisions.

We're looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives. You will partner closely with product managers, software engineers, marketing, and operations, helping shape how data is collected, modeled, and analyzed across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable reporting solutions, calculated metrics, and data pipelines.
  • Deliver high-quality analyses to support business decisions across product, marketing, and operations.
  • Validate and ensure data accuracy across tools, pipelines, and reports.
  • Translate complex data into simple, compelling insights for diverse stakeholders, from frontline operators to senior leadership.

  • Support marketing analytics efforts across paid channels, CRM, and customer journey optimization.
  • Participate in the executive team's business review process by delivering key insights and business performance narratives.

  • Running root cause analysis to explain a shift in conversion rates or operational metrics.
  • Presenting business impact insights to leadership with recommendations for optimization.
  • Building a new set of metrics to visualize trends in customer engagement.
  • Writing SQL to pull custom data for a marketing campaign analysis.
Qualifications

Basic:
  • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or analytics engineering.
  • Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, Redshift, or similar).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Scripting ability in Python, Java, or R for data analysis.
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a STEM field.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and experimentation (A/B testing).
  • Familiarity with data modeling and modern data pipeline design.
  • Experience working in a fintech, mortgage, or consumer tech startup environment.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
  • Thrive in ambiguity and are energized by solving open-ended problems.
  • Enjoy building clean, scalable solutions from scratch.
  • Think like a business partner, not just a data specialist.
  • Are passionate about customer experience and impact-driven analytics.
  • Can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Have an eye for process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Want to be part of a small, fast-moving team building something meaningful from the ground up.
