- Leads and manages all clinical data management (DM) activities including database build, cleaning, reconciliation, and locking activities across multiple clinical trials to ensure timely, accurate, and complete data collection and analyses.
- Develops and implements data management strategies, processes, and standards in alignment with Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and applicable regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, EMA, ICH).
- Oversees the review of key data management documents and operational activities (eg. data management plans (DMPs), case report forms (CRFs), CRF completion instructions, data validation specifications, and edit checks) outsourced to CROs ensuring adherence to cost, timeline, and data quality requirements.
- Participates in clinical vendor selection for external DM vendors including responsibility for review of DM sections of proposals, budgets, statements of work and change orders.
- Pilots and implements available digital/AI solutions to improve study efficiency and quality of data collection.
- Collaborates closely with Clinical Research Operations, Medical, Pharmacovigilance, and Biostatistics to ensure seamless data flow and data review leading to clean datasets for analysis.
- Ensures storage of all DM documents in the trial master file to support inspection.
- Mentors junior staff and contributes to departmental growth and development.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health informatics, or a related field (Master's or higher degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of clinical data management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of CDM processes, regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, ICH-GCP), and clinical data standards (e.g., CDISC, SDTM).
- Hands-on experience with EDC systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Veeva, Zelta), coding dictionaries (e.g., MedDRA, WHO Drug), and data visualization tools a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting regulatory submissions is highly desirable.

**Master Data Management/Governance - Senior Manager**
**The opportunity**
EY's Analytics and Data team is seeking a Master Data Management Senior Manager focusing on helping our clients define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation. This role demands a seasoned professional with an ability to define a master data management design- complemented by a solid track record of system delivery. The individual should be ready to guide clients through the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies.
In this role, you will design and apply comprehensive methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern and control the entire lifecycle of data assets. You will perform maturity assessments on data management capabilities and advise on tools and roadmaps to implement them. Additionally, you will articulate information strategies that align with business objectives. **Your key responsibilities**
As a Senior Manager in Data Management, you will be at the forefront of transforming data into a strategic asset for our clients. You will lead complex processes and projects, ensuring quality and risk management while navigating organizational dynamics. Develop solutions to complex problems, including functional and technical design of master data management software for key data domains such as customer, vendor, finance, and materials
+ Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis.
+ Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring effective engagement economics.
+ Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results.
+ Define and execute the analytics and data governance strategy for oil & gas clients, aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
+ Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks, including policies, data stewardship models, roles, and accountability across the organization.
+ Oversee Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, and data cataloging practices to ensure data consistency, discoverability, and trust.
+ Ensure compliance with data privacy, protection, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), working closely with Legal, Security, and Risk teams.
+ Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of analysts, engineers, and data stewards to deliver high-quality outcomes and maintain stakeholder confidence.
+ Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective data architectures in collaboration with enterprise architects and IT to support business intelligence and advanced analytics needs.
+ Oversee cloud-based data management platforms and technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, and Hadoop for ingestion, storage, and processing.
+ Drive the design and implementation of analytical models, data pipelines, and visualizations to solve complex business problems and generate actionable insights.
+ Leverage advanced analytics and machine learning techniques (e.g., optimization, forecasting, simulation) to enhance operational efficiency and reduce cost.
+ Translate business initiatives into prioritized use cases with measurable ROI and manage delivery across multiple domains.
+ Develop and champion data literacy programs, training, and change management initiatives to embed a data-driven culture across client organizations.

+ The candidate should possess a minimum of 12 years of direct involvement with MDM tools including SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDM
+ Experience leading delivery teams in the areas of data governance, data management, and related system implementations
+ Knowledge of future trends/changes in the industry and the ability to articulate these to customers
+ Benchmark design, development, delivery knowledge
+ Working knowledge of any of the cloud technologies AWS and Azure.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues and drive business outcomes
+ Proven ability to research and provide insights on industry standards, regulations, technology assessments, and forecasts
+ Demonstrated expertise in Data Privacy and Master Data Management.
+ Strong understanding of Data Governance and Enterprise Strategy.

**To qualify for the role, you must have**
+ Bachelor's degree required (4-year degree) in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or a related technical or scientific field with prior consulting experience required.
+ ERP implementation experience including full implementation cycles of SAP implementation with SAP MDG as a component
+ At least 8 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data governance, or data strategy, preferably in the oil & gas industry.
+ Strong understanding of Data Governance principles.
+ Experience with Enterprise IT Architecture.
+ Deep knowledge of data governance, including data quality frameworks, stewardship models, compliance, and policy creation.
+ Experience in Master Data Management (MDM), metadata, lineage tracking, and data catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
+ Demonstrated experience designing and deploying scalable data architectures
+ Proficiency with data analytics tools and platforms: SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, Cognite, Palantir, Dataiku, or similar.
+ Ability to lead large-scale digital transformation engagements, manage delivery risk, and foster trusted client relationships.
+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business domains.
+ Passion for mentoring, knowledge sharing, and building high-performing data teams.
+ Hands-on experience in cloud and data engineering tools including Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and data orchestration platforms.
+ A valid driver's license in the US; willingness and ability to travel internationally to meet client needs
+ A track record of successful stakeholder engagement and the ability to maintain and grow business relationships

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $144,000 to $29,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is 172,800 to 374,000. **Responsibilities**
+ Work directly with developers and internal partners managing critical aspects of infrastructure data center constructions from design, bid, build, to operations support. Collaborate with designers, developers, and engineers and manage site-level quality, equipment, and construction quality and commissioning escalations.
+ Provide analytical leadership to statistically connect design, construction, and equipment line metrics, tests, and quality audits to field performance.
+ Manage validation of developer's build/test/quality/commissioning processes. Validate the developer's project life cycle deliverables.
+ Conduct developer assessment, internal project health assessments, inspect construction sites, articulate quality improvement activities to reduce variability, improve predictability, streamline lead time, improve output quality, Factory Witness and Acceptance Testing.
+ Manage third-party developer quality assurance and control programs performance and KPIs.
