The Clinical Data Manager is responsible for multiple administrative tasks related to the organization of multiple internal and external clinical GEHC sponsored trials including our in-house clinical study, along with upkeep of clinical documentation as necessary.
**Job Description**
**Essential Responsibilities:**
+ Serves as the primary point of contact for all data management activities for multiple clinical trials across a range of medical devices and program teams ensuring compliance with good clinical practice, ISO 14155, and other applicable regulations.
+ Works with Clinical Operations and Clinical Research Managers to ensure data management activities are conducted compliantly and according to project timelines.
+ Attends internal and external meetings as necessary to facilitate discussion and decision for data management strategy pertaining to study, regulatory, or GCP-specific requirements.
+ Develops and maintains study-specific data management documents, such as DMPs, DVPs, CCGs, and CRFs based on protocol and study requirements.
+ Builds clinical trial database from data specifications, including edit checks, derivations, and custom functions.
+ Consults and collaborates with the Clinical Research Operations team to review reporting needs and develop reporting mechanisms.
+ Keeps management informed on progress and other project-related information.
+ Assists management in projecting resources.
+ Participates in team review and maintenance of QMS work instructions governing clinical data management, always striving to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
+ Travels to the Houston office when needed. Occasional travel to clinical trial sites to provide assistance.
+ Performs administrative and other duties as assigned.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree, preferred in analytic discipline (computer science or health-related field)
+ 5-8 years of experience working with data management in the clinical trial industry (preferably medical device) that includes an understanding of regulations and laws regarding data privacy.
+ At least 2 years of experience in at least one programming language (e.g. C#, Java, XML).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Working knowledge of clinical research operations and documentation.
+ Experience working with electronic data capture (EDC) that includes building, validating, and decommissioning clinical databases.
+ Experience with requirements gathering, design and specification development of eCRFs, edit checks, and understanding of database structures and programming languages.

**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**
The Sr Data Governance Analyst (Transformation) will serve as the primary business-facing resource within the Digital Transformation Office, responsible for driving enterprise-aligned data stewardship, data ownership, and data quality practices within a transformation-focused domain. This position represents business data needs, risks, and partners closely with Sales, Product, Legal, IT, and maintains close coordination with the Enterprise Data Governance Office (EDGO). **PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
+ Prioritize domain-relevant data subdomains and critical data elements (CDEs) based on business objectives and transformation needs.
+ Define and validate authoritative data sources and ensure alignment between data source systems and data consumers.
+ Escalate and sponsor resolution of key data risks, including data quality issues, data duplication, and metadata gaps that impact operations, analytics, or regulatory reporting.

**Who We're Looking For**
Ideal candidates will have.
+ Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health, clinical, biological, or mathematical field.
+ No less than 10 years of direct clinical data management experience, with 5+ years in a Lead Clinical Data Management role.
+ Your previous roles/job titles may include _Clinical Data Manager, Senior Clinical Data Manager, Lead Data Manager, Principal Data Manager, and/or Data Management Project Manager_ .
+ Proven success managing large global studies (1000+ patients).
+ Expertise with Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or similar EDC systems.
+ Strong understanding of GCP, ICH, and clinical research processes.

As a member of the Information Services department, the Lead Analyst, Digital Data Governance & Compliance will drive and support our firm-wide electronic governance initiatives. This key role will focus on ensuring integrity, security, accessibility, and compliance of data assets across the organization. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
**Data Governance**
+ Work closely with the Senior Manager, Digital Data Governance & Compliance to lead the strategy, implementation and management of comprehensive electronic data governance frameworks, standards, and policies.
+ Develop and execute data lifecycle management processes for unstructured and structured digital content.
**Litigation Hold & Internal Data Collections**
+ Develop and execute Litigation Hold process, ensuring data relevant to ongoing or anticipated litigation is properly identified, preserved, and tracked throughout Litigation Hold lifecycle.
+ Lead internal data collections in response to audits, investigations or internal reviews, ensuring completeness, chain of custody, and evidentiary standards are met.
**Data Mapping & Discovery**
+ Lead process for maintaining enterprise data map, ensuring all data assets, flows, and repositories are documented, regularly reviewed, and updated for accuracy.
+ Partner with IT, legal, privacy, and business units to identify, classify, and document digital data assets across systems and platforms.
**Cross-functional Collaboration**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Compliance, Information Security, IT, Business Units) to identify risks, close control gaps, and support continuous improvement of data governance practices.
+ Prepare and deliver training, guidance, and communications to staff regarding electronic data governance, best practices, and compliance obligations.

**Technology Strategy & Tools**
+ Evaluate and implement digital tools for litigation hold, data mapping, governance, and eDiscovery processes.
