The Virtual Engagement organization provides remote support to experienced Financial Advisors across a variety of business-critical disciplines while developing a pipeline of next generation wealth management professionals.
The Virtual Engagement Associate (VEA) Desk is a centralized resource providing dedicated infrastructure and support to Financial Advisors and Teams who aspire to modernize their wealth management practice and strengthen client relationships in a manner that leads to business growth. The VEA Desk provides expertise across a variety of core business functions including digital marketing and communication, financial planning, and point of sale execution for complex and resource-intensive products and services.
The Digital VEA Desk is comprised of analyst level professionals completing a multi-year program during which they provide dedicated support to Financial Advisors across web, social media and email. Operating as an extension of the FA/Team, Digital VEAs provide capacity, scale, and expertise to strengthen client relationships in a manner that leads to growth through a deliberate and consistent digital marketing and communication strategy.
As a member of the Virtual Engagement Associate leadership team, the Digital VEA Marketing, Operations & Development Manager is responsible for collaborating with marketing teams across the wealth and investment management business units to curate content and provide hands on coaching and training to help Digital VEAs connect the dots with their respective FAs/Teams by identifying the right content, targeted to the right client/audience and delivered through the right channel.
Job Responsibilities- Provide wealth management marketing expertise at the individual FA/Team level, particularly as it relates to leveraging digital marketing channels to strengthen client relationships through a consistent and deliberate communication strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing teams across wealth and investment management to source, produce and prioritize timely, unique, and thematic content that is aligned with individual FA/Team preferences and demand.
- Coordinate with platform stakeholders to ensure content is available across the suite of digital marketing channels including web, social media and email.
- Provide hands on coaching and training to Digital VEAs delivering bespoke digital marketing and communication strategies by ensuring the right content is being delivered to the right client/audience through the right channel and ensure FAs/Teams are receiving a high-quality experience.
- Manage, lead and develop Digital VEA Associate Desk Managers (ADMs) across multiple locations to provide scale to coaching, training and development functions across the Digital VEA Desk.
- Act as point of escalation for all matters sourced from Financial Advisors, Field Management, Home Office content/platforms teams and control partners.
- Evaluate and report out on metrics related to the health, productivity and impact of the Digital VEA Desk.
- Represent the interests of the Digital VEA Desk and support VEA Program Leadership as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or other relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required, Series 7, 66 within 90 days from start date; Series 9/10 or 24 is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous management experience required
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication presentation, and time-management skills
- Ability to remain focused and highly disciplined while working in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple priorities
- Be authorized to work in the US without durational restrictions
- Successfully complete all applicable background check and pre-employment assessments

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $190,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
