Job Description
**Obtain new and ongoing work for Brandt's Service Department by establishing and maintaining effective contact with existing accounts and potential buyers of mechanical maintenance and repair services.**
**What you'll do:**
1. Create positive working relationships and maintain regular contact with assigned accounts and potential clients.
2. Build partnering relationships with owners and owner's representatives responsible for making decisions regarding building maintenance and repair work.
3. Develop and execute business plans for defined targets.Include methods, contact personnel and short and long-term goals for contract, quoted and T&M work.Ensure consistency with Brandt's overall business plan and market strategy.
4. Identify customer's operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements.Actively listen, probe and identify concerns.Clarify Brandt's capabilities and expertise and provide strategic technical solutions.
5. Position renewable service agreements as a valuable and cost-effective partnership whenever feasible.
6. Create competitive, high-quality and timely estimates and proposals.Negotiate value, address resistance and 'close' the sale.
7. Assist with creating and making marketing presentations that showcase Brandt's character, resources and capabilities.
8. Seek in-house technical advice and support whenever necessary. Ensure each proposal satisfies the customer's scope of service.
9. Maintain positive relations with Service Operations personnel.Thoroughly identify/clarify customer's scope of service prior to the start of each new maintenance contract.
10. Track renewal dates on maintenance contracts.Ensure customer satisfaction and positive account status prior to contract expiration.
11. Act as the customer's advocate when performance or billing issues arise.
12. Monitor sales activities and adjust to market changes as necessary and as directed.
13. Keep supervisor informed of progress, account status and new sales leads.
14. Actively assist in the collection process for all assigned accounts.
15. Attend and present at relevant trade shows.
16. Promote Brandt's Integrated Projects group where practicable.Communicate potential opportunities to supervisor.
17. Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.
**What you'll need to be successful:**

**What you bring to the table:**
+ Four-year degree in relevant field, with strong emphasis on business and marketing (or an equivalent amount of technical training and practical experience)
+ Minimum 5 years construction-related experience, with 3 years experience in a marketing and/or estimating position

**The Impact You Will Have:**
QTS Data Centers is seeking an **Equipment Quality Program Manager - Electrical** to enhance our Data Center Engineering & Construction team. Our data centers utilize sophisticated electrical equipment to boost efficiency and support innovative technology. This role will be a critical part of our equipment quality program, fostering a culture that prioritizes precise processes, team accountability, and proactive problem-solving. The manager will oversee quality standards and commissioning of electrical equipment throughout the construction process, ensuring that our projects are delivered on schedule and uphold our global standards.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Set up and manage quality metrics focused on electrical equipment, using these metrics to improve project outcomes. Work with teams & supplier partners to solve any issues identified by the metrics.
+ Guide and develop our on-site quality and commissioning teams, ensuring they work well with our contractors and meet our standards.
+ Work with construction management to create and maintain standards and processes that help projects run smoothly and keep teams communicating effectively.
+ Serve as the main point of contact for contractors, ensuring they meet QTS's quality expectations.
+ Train team members on quality processes, especially as they relate to electrical equipment
+ Handle quality problems by working with design, procurement, suppliers and operations teams to keep projects on track.
+ Regularly check on quality practices to make sure they meet our standards.
+ Conduct audits on design documents and quality records to ensure they comply with our requirements.
+ Update and improve quality documents like checklists and test plans to better align both internal and external parties to our standards
+ Address any project issues by implementing corrective actions.
+ Review commissioning plans and provide input to make sure they align with project goals.
+ Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate before handing over projects.
+ Oversee equipment tests to confirm they meet our standards.
+ Maintain detailed records of tests and commissioning activities
**Qualifications:**
+ At least 5 years of experience in QA/QC or commissioning, specifically in data centers or similar facilities, with a focus on electrical equipment.
+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar field.
+ Strong knowledge of project delivery methods like Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build, especially involving air cooled and liquid cooled technologies.
+ Experience leading QA/QC and commissioning in large projects.
+ Skilled at managing relationships with contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
+ Knowledgeable in critical systems like power and cooling in data centers.
+ Flexible and able to adapt to changing project needs.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
**American Society for Quality (ASQ) certified CMQ/OE, CQIA, CQPA, CQE, and/or CQA**
**Deep understanding of supplier quality management principles: This includes knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, best practices, and relevant regulations.**
**Experience with ISO 9001 or equivalent systems: Proven ability to implement, manage, or maintain a QMS that meets ISO 9001 standards.**

Join our team as a Business Finance Controller where you will oversee the financial performance and control of our Data Center Systems Business. In this role, you will focus on managing the end-to-end P&L, ensuring our financial health and growth. You will engage in pipeline management and forecast modeling, driving and supporting financial rolling forecasts in collaboration with our commercial and finance organizations. Additionally, you will own support function cost analysis, forecasting, and strategic initiatives, including investments and cost-saving measures for North America Secure Power. What will you do?
Working closely with all functions within the organization, you will:
• Report on the financial performance of the Data Center Systems Business.
• Support business leaders and sales teams to drive growth and achieve business objectives.
• Work with the Cloud and Service Provider Team to support Secure Power within the segment
• Help develop short- and long-term strategies for the finance team.
• Support reporting requirements (Actuals & Planning), including:
• Collaborating with business managers to develop monthly and quarterly forecasts.
• Engaging in the monthly close process and maintaining visibility through regular communication with business leaders.
• Working closely with Accounting, FP&A, local managers, and staff to ensure data integrity.
• Analyzing business unit results (Orders, Sales, and Gross Margin) and explaining variances.
• Supporting audits of various rebate programs.
• Providing ad hoc financial analysis as required.
• Offering financial and commercial advice.
• Driving finance transformation topics and supporting business transformations.
• Handling other finance duties within the reasonable scope of the role.
• Collaborating with GSC and Inventory Planning teams to secure the right inventory for the business, including analyzing past volumes and forecasting future unit requirements.
• Presenting results to the business and providing actionable insights.
• Collaborate closely with LOB to ensure a smooth new product phase in/Phase out within the region.
• Working with the North America (NAM) Inventory Costing team to ensure costs are properly updated in the ERP.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- 4 to 7 years of experience in financial roles, including financial analysis, FP&A, Finance Business Partnership
- Experience in large project controlling and account decision-making/modeling.
- Strong technical background.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, and reporting experience) is essential.

+ Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to capture systems interconnection requirements
+ Provide guidance on design tool development and enhancements
+ EWIS component selection
+ Assist in the development new processes and process improvement initiatives
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a related field, and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience -Higher education may substitute for relevant experience -Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
+ Able to effectively and clearly communicate complex regulatory requirements and solutions
+ ITAR, EAR, FTR
+ Experience analyzing and interpreting federal rules and regulations
+ Significant experience with EWIS design for large transport category aircraft (14 CFR, Part 25, Subpart H)
+ Familiar with use of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (e.g. 3DExperience, Enovia SmarTeam, Teamcenter)
+ Experience with 3D harness routing and installation design CAD tools (e.g. CATIA, SolidWorks, NX)
+ Familiar with Model Based Design (MBD) principals
+ Ability to effectively communicate EWIS system requirements to other engineering disciplines
+ Working knowledge of environmental electromagnetic effects and electromagnetic compatibility principles, as well as methods of protection and mitigation of those effects on EWIS.
+ Familiar with system safety principles and hazard mitigation methods
+ **Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance**
